Vote YES on 7A! Passenger rail connecting the Front Range, from Fort Collins to Pueblo.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
BIG NEWS FROM PUEBLO 🚆

The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce has endorsed 7A, joining business and community organizations across the Front Range supporting the Colorado Connector. They know passenger rail is the key to strengthening economic activity, reducing traffic, and connecting communities and businesses.

For Pueblo, the connection to rail runs deep. The arrival of the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad in 1872 helped transform Pueblo into a major industrial center, and rail and steel remain central to the city’s history and identity today.

Pueblo was built with rail at its roots. Let’s build on that legacy — and bring more visitors, workers, customers and economic activity into the city while creating a more connected Front Range!

There really is a train coming to Longmont! 🚆

That’s the message from RTD Director Karen Benker in the Longmont Times-Call:

“There is a difference between hoping a train will come to Longmont and having a legislatively established deadline, state and regional partners working together, an established passenger rail district, and RTD involvement and negotiations underway with BNSF. And don’t forget the new [Longmont] transit center is now under construction.

So, Is the train really coming?

Yes.”

ENDORSEMENT ALERT: Welcome Aboard, Melat Kiros and Rep. Javier Mabrey! 🚆

They know one of our toughest challenges is how to improve transportation options as our communities grow. We need new and better ways to get around — without accepting more traffic and more pollution.

A new report projects that by 2050,
traffic on I-25 at 2 p.m. could resemble today’s 5 p.m. congestion.

That’s crazy!

It’s time for new solutions.

A new intercity passenger rail service is on the ballot this year in Colorado’s Front Range.

Learn more about the Colorado Connector (CoCo) and Measure 7A, which would create permanent funding for train service between Fort Collins and Pueblo. Colorado’s approach is unique, following an incremental strategy that invests in existing freight-owned tracks to expand service over time to 10 daily round trips, borrowing from the Capitol Corridor and Amtrak Cascades models.

Join us for a conversation with Coloradans for CoCo Director of Outreach James Flattum to hear how CoCo proponents are planning ahead, building support, and creating a framework that could inspire other states to follow.

CoCo gets the @tra_channel treatment. 🚆

The popular rail-focused YouTube channel sat down for a conversation about the Colorado Connector, Issue 7A, and what expanded passenger rail could look like along the Front Range.

They talk about how CoCo would use existing rail infrastructure, connect communities from Fort Collins to Pueblo, and build on the Fort Collins-to-Denver starter service planned for 2029. The channel’s host, Thom, also shares his own support for Issue 7A during the conversation!

If you’re a train person — or just curious about how CoCo is actually supposed to work — this is a great deep dive.

Northern Colorado deserves high-quality transportation options — and Congressman Joe Neguse is backing Issue 7A. 🚆

Here's what he has to say about the project: “For years, folks have talked about solutions. Well, we finally have an opportunity to do something about it through the Colorado Connector!”

With a proposed Fort Collins station at the CSU Shops at College site and Fort Collins-to-Denver starter service planned for 2029, CoCo would give Northern Colorado a new way to connect with communities across the Front Range.
