Vote YES on 7A! Passenger rail connecting the Front Range, from Fort Collins to Pueblo.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Why invest in CoCo with a YES vote on 7A? Because it works. Across the US, on average,

For every $1 invested in transit and rail, there is a $5 macro return, $3 of which is in the form of local business sales that would not have happened if not for the train.

Projects like this have worked across the US from coast to coast, and are bringing value every day on Amtrak Cascades, Capitol Corridor, the Downeaster, and the Piedmont.

It’s about time we giddy up on the Front Range!

JUNE CHURCHILL ENDORSES 7A! 🛤️✅

No one likes driving on I-25 and US-36, and this November is your chance to skip the congestion! For decades our state has spent billions of dollars to widen highways, but traffic is worse than ever. Intercity passenger rail is the solution we’ve all been waiting for! The rest of the world has already figured out that trains are a more comfortable, affordable, and effective way to get around and it’s about time we caught up. Within 3 years you will be able to take a train to Fort Collins, and within 5 you will be able to take it south to Colorado Springs, all faster than driving! 🚞

I am also so supportive of this measure because I’ve spent years advocating for just this project. I spent the entire 2024 legislative session advocating for public transit investment, and the bills that passed that session with our advocacy are the bills that enabled the Colorado Connector. If you want to get into the nitty gritty details go read the CoCo delivery plan at ColoradoConnector.com. In short, the trains are getting rolling so fast because they’re running on existing rail with already negotiated access contracts.

In Denver there are additional benefits! 7A will provide $9 million of annual funding for the area around Union Station. Downtown Denver desperately needs quality of life improvements, so as your next councilmember I will work to get that money allocated towards the 5280 Trail, upgrading and expanding the downtown bike network, and the Downtown Area Plan. Downtown is 2% of our city’s area but 20% of the fatal or serious injury crashes, yet the city failed to allocate any money to fix this problem in the Vibrant Denver bond or with the DDA. We deserve better than neglect, and I will fight tirelessly for investment in our needs. 7A is just one part of that, so vote YES! 🗳️✅

So why do we need Colorado Connector? Why vote YES on Issue 7A?

Our very own James Flattum makes the case for the train. Huge thanks to Brad and Coleman for the production!
