Before digital billboards, there were walldogs—skilled artists who scaled buildings to paint advertisements by hand. ‘We Paint’ documents the high-stakes, high-impact world of modern large-scale mural painting, honoring the legacy of these unsung artists.

To mark the upcoming launch of my book, SAYING NO TO NEW, I’m asking people to answer a single question:

Next up is Jim Fitzgerald, VP of Client Partnerships at @colossalmedia. You may have seen @colossalmedia’s work without realizing it. The company creates stunning hand-painted outdoor advertising and public art. I was able to tour their Brooklyn facility and see the rigorous process that goes into each piece.
