🏡 The Forever Home issue 1 🏡

🖋 Written by Christian Ward

🎨 Art by Sami Kivela

🖍 Colours by Jason Wordie

✒️ Letterer done by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou

📚 Cover for issue B is done by Justine Frany

THEY HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD . . . WILL IT BE ENOUGH TO SAVE THEM?

The first few pages give us a breakdown of what's happening in the future and revolves around Henry D'mour (who i feel had a part to play in this whole end of the world situation) and his family, his wife and children, a boy and a girl who all live in an ark type home (THE FOREVER HOME). Inside this house, only 20 minutes pass for every year on the outside. They have everything they need on the inside, food, water, robotic companions for their every need until one wrong childish mistake, breaks the one rule that they must abide by, no one goes outside, no matter what and when their son runs after his dog to the outside, you get to see the real Henry, who shows no mercy and how cold he really is, refuses to go after him but what's outside........ wants back in.............THEIR SON AND OTHER HUMANS.

After the ending to issue 1 I have 2 questions,

1, Where did the other people come from.
2, What is Henry not telling us.

1 issue in and I am hooked on this series, the story telling, the art work, the every man for himself type of feel I get from Henry (Hopefully the wife does him)

If you haven't picked up issue 1, i highly recommend you get on it now ASAP 👊

Avengers Armageddon #4 Lighting McQueen Variant

🖋 Written by Chip Zdarsky

📚 Cover by German Peralta @gpgermanperalta

⭐️10/10

Review (spoilers) - Its been a wild ride with the Avengers seeing Thaddeus Ross as a big red threat. Cap ends up in bad shape in issue one (more info on Doom you have to read One World Under Doom 9). Red Hulk ends up getting an upper hand on Latvaria finally.... With Ross on the run the superheros are now trying to intercept missiles sent from Russia. They have been fighting for control and hope to turn the tides in issue five.

So far the series has been solid and the art is really engaging. We can't wait and see what happens in the final issue of this series.

🚗 Featuring Lighting McQueen, Mater and Sally for the 40th year of pixar

Pixar Cover Collection also includes:
- The Incredibles: Fantastic Four 13
- WALL-E: Iron Man 7
- Ratatouille: Infernal Hulk 9
- A Bug's Life: Fantastic Four 15
- Up: Amazing Spider-Man 34
- Brave: Avengers Armageddon 3
- Toy Story 5: Doomquest 4
- Monsters, Inc: Fantastic Four 16

Huge shoutout to @comicsandfigures for sharing this amazing comic cover from his collect. Go check his page out!! Has a great background in comics, trades, omnibus, and action figures. Been loving the hard work and dedication. Definitely inspires me to keep posting by @comicsandfigures

🔥💥 City Of Demons issue 1-4 💥🔥

This series starts during World War 1 with Lucas Short and his fellow troops running for their lifes with bombs, gun fire and all sorts going off around them. As he flees, Lucas sees dead and injured troops and he is forced to abandon one of his comrades so he can survive. Fast forward 6 years, Lucas is a detective in Los Angeles and after been assigned to pretty much babysit a movie premier, lucas and his partner end up in a high speed chase with his partner catching a bullet through his neck, bleeding out and dying in Lucas's arms. In Los Angeles 1924, you have 2 families who want to control everything. On one side you have the Sullivans and on the other, you have the Boyles. But after one of the families is attacked by this mysterious killer, 2 men are stuck in between it all and are hired by Marcus Sullivan to figure out who's behind these killings, Lucas Short and Lawrence Kay (private detective) are in for a world of surprises.

The black and white artwork is absolutely phenomenal and really makes you take your time reading issue by issue and breaking down the overall panal work, the action, the murder scenes, car chases, the suspense is just next to none some of the best noir att work I've seen.

The writing is fantastic and straight to the point with light back and forward dialogue, especiallythe intense sequences, which i absolutely loved because it allowed your eyes to do the story telling and understand the scenes more.

If you enjoy noir, if you enjoy crime, if you enjoy action, if you enjoy a murder investigation, then this is the series for you.

Big thank you to the folks over at City Of Demons for allowing me to review this for them.

If you haven't read/picked up this series yet, i highly recommend you get on it now ASAP 👊

Issue 1
The Hanson family moves into a neighbourhood and things are extremely strict and a little weird especially that HOA president (W****r), you don't want to find yourself on the wrong side of him, just ask the kids who played football in their front yard. And then to question whether the kids are Christian and then later state that they be homeschooled because everyone else's kids in the neighborhood are has me wanting to punch this HOA president right between the two eyes. And to top it all of, you ain't allowed a boat in the yard or can't have your garage door open for too long and now Claire has wandered off into the woods and discovered some sort of ritualistic sacrifice taking place.......what a first day in the neighbourhood.
Issue 2
The Hanson family have just finished moving into what was meant to be their dream home, but it’s already turned into their worst nightmare. The Home Owners Association is throwing its annual picnic and and everyone is invited. Claire bakes brownies and taught it was a fine gesture....so she taught, with all the neighbours looking with nothing but shame on their faces and was later punished with roaches in her tub on medicine (i have a feeling those meds will play a big part) The HOA president is really getting on the dad's last nerves, especially because the boat is still in the front yard but he learned the hard way when he found out that it is forbidden to pitch a tent and camp in your own bark yard. This issue ends with the dad's boat been burned to the ground. Maybe he'll start to believe his wife now.

Cullen, Fico, Ulises have given us a phenomenal start to this series. Extremely hyped for issue 3.

If you haven't started/picked up this series yet, get on it ASAP 👊

🔥 Fort Psycho issue 1 and 2 🔥

"Ten years ago, the nation of Singapore sank into the Pacific Ocean. The underground terrorist network known as the Seven Seals took credit for the largest act of terror in human history. In the aftermath, the United Nations created a strike team of highly trained covert operatives with one mission - locate, identify, and eliminate the Seven Seals’ secretive leader. The team’s clandestine affairs were to always remain in the shadows - until their final, explosive confrontation resulted in a large-scale tragedy too bloody to cover up and too tragic to ignore. Disgraced and disavowed by the governments that trained them, the world’s most dangerous secret agents have been convicted for their crimes and sentenced to serve time side by side in the one place capable of holding them: their old island headquarters, Fort Cyclone—now known in the media by the derogatory nickname - Fort Psycho.”

I freakin love this series. The fact that all these military personnel are all captured after the events of sinking Singapore and placed on a island where they get to live out the rest of their lives.........in luxury as long as they stay away from society and are watched by the government jas me hooked to this series, like a fictional tv show. They overall mystery of Jason been under cover to find this secret leader is good, plus he isn't able to trust anyone either because of what he's been told before being sent to the island. There's also the fact that he won't share his feelings of his time as a SAW member, especially in the military you're supposed to keep your feelings down (yet some of his old SAW team are sharing their's) has me questioning who's real and who's two-faced. The ending of issue 1 and 2 has me super hyped for issue 3.

If you haven't read/started this series, I highly recommend you get on it now ASAP because its getting good 👊👊
