Happy 8 years, babe! 🤍

We’ve seen 16 fall seasons together. From twenty-somethins to almost forty-somethins…

We've changed so much along the way, and you've loved me through every version of myself.

We have built a family I'm so proud of. A home that’s never perfect, but always warm, cozy, and open to the people we love. A whole life WE made, while we were still growing up ourselves.

I love you beyond words. Thank you for seeing me when I couldn’t quite see myself, and for loving the woman I’m becoming. I know she's a lot. But she loves you a lot, too.

I'm excited to meet the future versions of us. Someday we'll look back at these pictures and realize how young we still were.

Cheers to many more years, babe. 🥂 by @commisso_cooks

Food & Feelings- A series.

Epsode 1 - Pasta & Perspective

Sometimes life is a lot like making pasta.
You start with a few simple things.
You mix them together.
You work the dough.
And for a while, it might not look like it’s going anywhere.
But you keep working it.
You learn when to push, when to ease up, when to add a little more, and when to simply let it rest.
Maybe life works the same way.
This is the first of a series where I cook, think out loud, and explore some of the things life has taught me along the way.

Pasta & Perspective.

Food, life, and everything in between.

Follow along!

Remember when I used to take pictures of food??? I should probably start posting pics of all the work I've been doing on the house instead of cooking... Tonight's dinner looked too good not to add to the reel, so here it is.
