On Friday September 18 from 5-8pm, we celebrate the opening of a two-person show in the workshop, featuring the ceramics of Jennifer Langhammer and the papier-mâché of Polly Shindler! We’re honored to host these two fantastic, fanciful artists who manage to blend heirloom practices and hyper-familiar subject matter into something incredibly uncanny and delightful.

Take a minute! You can’t doom scroll when you’re doing one of our beginner needlepoint kits, and it’s harder to worry about work when tie-dyeing t-shirts with natural indigo. Facts!

A really special selection of materials for creativity adjoins the workshop here at @commonplacecraft -
pop in this weekend and pick up a watercolor set, a giant pair of paper shears, washi tape from Japan, handprinted origami paper from England, or a needlecraft kit for the laziest of Sundays. Open Thursday through Monday in the back of @rosemaryrosefinery (and yes our own sign is coming soon!) by @commonplacecraft
