The Community of Democracies is pleased to announce the panel “When Faith Becomes Political: Defending Freedom in an Age of Authoritarianism,” in cooperation with the 30th Forum 2000 Conference.

This panel is particularly relevant since religious freedom is one of the fundamental human rights, and its defense has historically contributed to democratization and reconciliation in many unfree societies.
