🌈 @springvalleyplacemakers’ third and final @communityweave workshop was full of great ideas and giggles 🤭 these spring valley hs students were such a pleasure to work with.

thank you to: dianne and tammy of @finkelsteinlibraryys for their coordination, participation, and support 🤝 @artscouncilofrockland for funding this program through their arts4all grant 🎨 and @storyspacearts for championing our work 🎉

🧶 and, of course, this could not be possible without kersten harries’ engaging and innovative community art project. we can’t wait to show y’all the final tapestry!

So grateful to be able to display and share all four Community Weave Panels and photo collages during Community Day. It was at The Pocantico Center, where this project started about a year ago with two Intergenerational, bilingual, weaving workshops. Thank you to all that participated and supported this project. #communityweave #sleepyhollow #tarrytown #communityart taken in The Pocantico Center of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund by @communityweave
