Meet Steve & Ki 👫👋

We recently spoke to them about life on the road, off-grid travel, and of course… their Cuddy! They spend half the year exploring remote places in their truck camper, Oso.

With Cuddy on board, they're able to stay off-grid longer without needing to search for dump points. It tucks neatly under their bench seat, and best of all, keeps their truck smelling fresher than their old black water set-up!

How we 💩 in our van 🚐 (part 2)

When we were building our van, we did a ton of research on what camper toilet to get and over 2 years later, we’re very happy with the CUDDY.

Having a portable composting toilet has made a huge difference for where we’re able to camp. 🙌

Some of our favorite features:
💩 Liquids and solids are separated
🚨 Indicator light comes on when the pee jug is full
🚮 Solids bin is easy to remove and refill compost
🌄 Lightweight and portable so we can bring it outside
⬜️ Square shape so it’s easy to store and build around

If you’re deciding on a portable toilet, we highly recommend @compocloset

Let us know if you have any questions about the CUDDY! 🚽

If you've never used a composting toilet before, the idea can sound a little… complicated.

But the basic principle is actually pretty simple: separate the liquids and solids, control odours, and help solids break down naturally.

Once you understand those three things, composting toilets make a LOT more sense.

What was your biggest question when you first heard about composting toilets? 👇

Our team is preparing for Caravan Salon Düsseldorf.

At Hall 3, Booth F24, visitors can explore three different approaches to waterless sanitation:

• Automatic heat-sealing with the S1
• Composting with the Cuddy
• Portable separation with the Cuddy Lite

Come by from 28 August to 6 September to see the systems, ask technical questions, and discuss applications for campervans, RVs, cabins, and accommodation projects.
