I was very poorly socialized as a child and did not have many friends growing up. And when I did, most of them were guys. Now in my 30s, I’ve been evolving into my feminine side and leaning into my female friendships. And… I have to say, I like it here ❤️

Took me 6 months in my 20s to lose the baby weight.
Took me 18 months in my 30s to lose the baby weight.

I mispoke in my video. I know why my brain was broken before. It’s because I grew up under the ridiculous pressures of the patriarchy in which young girls and women are constantly told on a daily basis from everything around us that being supermodel thin is the desired look.

Being HEALTHY for your own unique body type should be the desired look. And yes, that means not carrying excess, unnecessary fat and weight. However, muscle weighs more than fat so…. Numbers should not be the only measure of success in your weight loss and health journey.

I’ve never walked the conventional path. Probably because my parents are unconventional people as well. I hated when they forced me to change paths as a junior in high school after spending my entire life preparing for a life of academia at an Ivy League. Hindsight is 20/20, and this proved to be one of the best decisions my parents made for me that is still continuing to pay off in spades.

Isn’t it crazy how certain life decisions can radically change the trajectory of your life?

And milestone logged ☑️ my student loans have FINALLY been paid off after 14 years 🙂

When my boys were babies, they were completely obsessed with me and the biggest mama’s boys, and I loved the warm fuzzy feelings and attention 🥰 I love being a boy mom!

But being a girl mom has been that x100000 because the way Margot literally tries to copy everything I do is mindblowing. This goes to show you that the apple usually does not fall far from the tree. Your children are ALWAYS watching and always learning from your behavior and actions. So be a decent human being always and be that good role model!
