6th Annual Chicago Nail Bash RECAP! 💚 Nail people. One room. One day. One purpose. What a day filled with EDUCATION, COMMUNITY, and so much LOVE! ❤️ From incredible educators and nail brands showing up for our industry to nail techs coming together to learn, laugh, share knowledge, and build new friendships—THIS is why we do it! And none of this would have been possible without our amazing SPONSORS who SHOWED UP for our nail community! 🙏 @deenti4u @tricocicareers @pncbank @yentranflorida @pla_nails @lobo_nailz @sofgelnail @nailacarte @nailzyusa @saltmaranails @onail_official @cllamsupply @adorebeautyandnails @egoista_nailschool @abello_nails @iambitch.co @healing.care.at.home @theniyaco @abcnailandbeautysupply @billionairenailofficial @lynamybeautysupply @nghia_nippers_usa @gehwolfootcare @ddnailsupply 🎥 Video by @hausofaurea For me personally, Chicago Nail Bash has become something much bigger than nails. Through the Lotus Scholarship, we’re creating SECOND CHANCES through education and opportunity. This year, we celebrated THREE scholarship recipients who are rebuilding their lives after domestic violence, sexual abuse, and incarceration. 💕 This is what happens when a community comes together for something bigger than ourselves. To every sponsor, educator, volunteer, and attendee who SHOWED UP—THANK YOU! You didn’t just attend an event. You were part of the IMPACT. ❤️ Until next year, Chicago Nail Bash! 💚 #ChicagoNailBash #ChicagoNailTechs #NailCommunity #LotusScholarship #OneStopBeautySchool

Our purpose goes far beyond the content, the highlights, and the education we bring to the Chicago nail community. ❤️ Our purpose is to create second chances for survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, and individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration. When you attend the Chicago Nail Bash, you’re helping make that possible. Your ticket supports the Olivia Mae Lotus Scholarship, providing education, opportunity, and a pathway toward financial independence. And this year, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the three incredible individuals who received full scholarships because of this mission. When you show up, you’re not just attending an event. You’re part of the impact. Thank you for showing up, supporting our mission, and helping us continue this work. ❤️ RSVP at Chicagonailbash.com #nailtech #chicagonailtech #lotusscholarship #chicagonailbash #chicago

Today we celebrated my beautiful friend Brenda’s birthday with an incredible lunch at Orange Hill Restaurant in Orange. 🥂🎂 The restaurant was stunning, the views were breathtaking, and the food was absolutely delicious! Such a beautiful spot for a date night, wedding proposal, or special celebration. They also have banquet rooms with amazing city views. It was gorgeous during the day, but I can only imagine how magical it looks at night with all the city lights. ✨🌆 Follow me for more beautiful places, delicious food, and fun date-night ideas! 🤍. #fyp #datenightideas #fashionover40 #brunch

Sustainability is fueled by purpose. For the last 6 years, proceeds from the Chicago Nail Bash, along with our other fundraising efforts, have helped us build toward something bigger: awarding 3 FULL Nail Technology Scholarships through the Olivia Mae Lotus Scholarship. These scholarships give survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, as well as formerly incarcerated individuals, a second chance through education and the opportunity to earn their Illinois Nail Technology License and build a new career. To every brand sponsor and every nail tech who continues to show up and support the Chicago Nail Bash year after year—THANK YOU. ❤️ Your support is making a real impact. You’re not just attending an event or sponsoring the Nail Bash—you’re helping someone gain a license, build a career, create independence, and become the next nail tech in our community. This is why we continue to host the Chicago Nail Bash, now in its 6th year. 💅❤️ Purpose keeps us going. Community makes it possible. #community #nailtech #secondchance #networking #chicago

This past Sunday, we gathered for the Olivia Mae Lotus Scholarship Finalist Brunch & Interviews to meet the finalists selected from 23 applications. There were moments when a story, a personality, or even the way someone spoke reminded me of my late sister, Olivia. ❤️ The Lotus Scholarship exists to offer survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, graduates of recovery and reentry programs, and formerly incarcerated individuals a second chance through education and a skilled trade. Olivia believed the beauty industry could offer people like her purpose, dignity, and connection. This scholarship is more than tuition. It’s a pathway to break cycles of trauma and poverty, restore confidence, and empower someone to build a future and earn a living with their own hands—through doing nails. 💅 I’m deeply grateful to our Selection Committee for the compassion and care they brought into this process. Each of them made this experience even more meaningful for me. Like the lotus flower that blooms through the mud, our past does not define our future. #nailtech #chicagonailbash #fundraising #purposedriven #chicago

Better late than never… here’s everything I picked up from my SOFGEL haul at IBS Las Vegas back in June! I couldn’t leave without stopping by @sofgelnail . I’ve been a fan of their products for a while, and after meeting @conceitedcarol at last year’s IBS, I’ve enjoyed continuing to support a brand I’m genuinely excited about. This year, I had the chance to meet @nailsbykms and @vnovanails , who took the time to answer my questions, share their product knowledge, and offer helpful tips and recommendations. I picked up a mix of nail tips, gels, and a few new goodies that I can’t wait to try and share with you all. Thank you, SOFGEL, for another amazing @ibs_shows experience. Looking forward to seeing what next year brings!
