This week, CFD members have been visiting area schools as part of fire prevention week. One of those visits was to St. John Regional School's second grade class. Students learned about the gear worn during a fire, important safety information, and check out the fire truck and ambulance. The EMS Officer is responsible for providing oversight for the department's EMS program. This role also includes the following:
➡️Act as liaison with New Hampshire Fire Standards and Training, New Hampshire Medical Control Board, New Hampshire Emergency Medical and Trauma Control Board, and other pertinent training organizations.

➡️Serve as the Unit Controlled Drug Coordinator (UCDC)

➡️Serve as Department Privacy & Compliance Officer.

➡️May serve as designated safety officer for the department, including emergency scenes.
