I remember when I was younger and just starting to photograph weddings how excited I was to experience the magic, the serendipity and the little happenstances that seem to weave themselves through the moments surrounding wedding days. Photographing this sweet, intimate mountain wedding day in a stunning stand alone stone church at the base of a mountain just confirmed for the millionth time that I have the coolest job in the world. I get to experience magic!! …And the biggest moments in life as well as the small, quiet ones that encapsulate true love and happiness. I cried in the phone calls leading up to this day, I cried as she walked down the aisle, I cried as he kissed her for the first time as husband and wife. Here’s to my younger self- who desired that magic feeling when witnessing providential moments and here’s to the joy that comes when you fall in love with what you do for work.✨

Our friends, Caitlyn and Brennan on their wedding day, the 21st of September 2024 in black and white🤍

turned 33 today and what I said to a friend at lunch, pretty much sums it up:

“I don’t wanna go out and drink because I need to take my Tylenol and get to bed at a decent hour” 👵🏻🎂✨

and I’m okay with that! had the best day ever without tequila (don’t worry, celebratory margs were had earlier this week!) by @coniferpine

sunny first morning of november 🌞 all of these potters have played a part in inspiring me to take the next step in my ceramics obsession - taking some lessons! I now have an entirely new level of admiration and respect for people who make a living throwing clay! taken in Denver, Colorado by @coniferpine

my very first herb garden 🌱 built a couple of these planter boxes last week and then went crazy greening up our front porch! lemme tell ya, cutting fresh herbs for home cooking is life changing!! not really looking forward to brining all of these guys inside on Friday though (snow?!) but that’s spring in CO isn’t it? taken in RiNo, Denver by @coniferpine

this might be controversial but I’m a big fan of the moody overcast mornings we seldom get here, I just walk around with my cup of tea telling Jerry how beautiful the light is and he couldn’t disagree more! grumpy guy loves the sun. side note, when I see my mug shelf filled to the brim I start thinking hmm… must put up more shelves - instead of must stop buying mugs from people I love ☁️☕️ anyone else feel the same? taken in RiNo, Denver by @coniferpine
