In the last year I got to meet my two favorite authors of all time. Jim Butcher and Patricia Briggs have been inspiring me for well over 20 years now and I can't imagine what my life would be like without them. Many ways their characters acted as role models to me as a young man in a time where I had no others. It's kind of silly to want to write a love letter on Instagram but the desire is there. Now I just need to meet James Marsters, Lorelei King and Holter Graham to compete the collection! Skol to the skalds!

It's been a while since I've made a post. Over a year ago I started working for New Beginnings, turning something that I used to do for fun into a career. It's not glorious and it sure as heck isn't as fun as raising money with @eli_doubletap, @baddiestreams and @mat_best_official while playing video games but it's necessary. No tags for this one. Just love and duty. by @conservation_nerd

My pomegranate tree is only a couple years old so I'm only letting it grow these two this year so that it doesn't waste all of its energy putting out tons of fruit. I'm still pretty excited though!

The right to self defense is for EVERYONE! If this offends you in any way, I invite you to read the first sentence of the US constitution and meditate on your views. People often latch on to a select few or even a singular Amendment and have that be the hill that they die on. I am guilty of this myself at times. But let's think about why the the Bill of Rights was written. It is very clearly outlined in that very first sentence. As my patriotic partner often says, "Your're either for the constitution or you're not."

I'm just not sure what to paint today! Maybe I'll do a blue Vegeta inspired rifle with white primary accents. But do I do black or yellow secondary accents? Ooooh. Maybe throw a Majin symbol on the reciever! That would be a fun project. What do you think? @eli_doubletap might steal my rifle if I did.
