The mead industry is alive and thriving in Southern California! Once a quarter the Southern California Mead Alliance (SCMA) gets together to talk about mead in our communities, share experiences, and learn from eachother. This is something we all feel is necessary in the fastest growing mead community in the country! Look for some exciting news to come from some of the SCMA members later this week. We'll be announcing something we think you're gonna like 😁

Last night's Southern California Mead Alliance meeting, hosted by @raging_cider . Had some great meads and ciders, while chatting with other meaderies.

Thanks to @raging_cider for hosting the Southern California Meadmakers Alliance meeting last night. Did you know San Diego has the most meaderies in one spot in the whole world? (PS The cider and mead is fantastic.) 📷: @raging_cider

My folks are really in the holiday spirit today, making our traditional family recipe for fürden, or properly known as Æbleskiver. Which are then lightly dipped in jam made from raspberry, strawberry, black currant, or blackberry and sprinkled with powdered sugar. They are often served with home made gløgg (mulled wine). Time to turn our Yule on, embracing our viking heritage! #christmas #yule #yuletide #midwinter #ebleskivers #glogg #mulledwine #pancakepuffs #wintersolstice #merrychristmas #vikings #superneal

Brought this beauty to the Southern California Mead Alliance meeting! Thanks William for giving me this bottle over a year ago!
