Still processing this one 🥹

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to take Soulfull onto national television with the @thetodayshow Extra with @ninecomau

Nine months of creating, designing, interviewing, cooking, crying (a little), and bringing together some truly wonderful humans led to this moment.

But this has never been about simply making a cookbook. It’s about the people behind our food, the stories we carry, and how something as simple as sharing a meal can make a difference.

When we start a business, it can be incredibly easy to attach our personality and identity to it.

The wins feel personal. So do the failures.

“I’m fine” is not a support system. Sometimes the thing a founder needs most isn’t another strategy, productivity hack or five-year plan.
It’s another person. Someone you can actually tell the truth to.

You don’t have to always have it all together.

One of the things Justin and I kept coming back to in this conversation was how exhausting entrepreneurship can become when you feel like you have to carry everything alone.

There’s a difference between independence and isolation.

“The measure of success in nature is balance.”
This stopped me.

We’re so used to treating growth as the default measure of whether something is working.

More revenue. More people. More reach. A bigger five-year plan. But maybe success can also be enjoying what you’re building while you’re building it.
