For the opening concert of 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕, we draw inspiration from 𝐴𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑊𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑑, one of Ligeti’s favorite stories. Music, literature, light, and imagery come together in a program full of fantasy and unexpected twists.

Ligeti’s almost otherworldly organ sounds are featured alongside Schumann’s 𝐹𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑢̈𝑐𝑘𝑒, Schubert’s grand 𝐹𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑦 for violin and piano, and music by a new generation of composers. The program also includes a world premiere by Utku Arisorglu.

We are getting so excited for our @concertgebouw performance and we can’t wait to see some familiar and new faces there! It is with so much joy that we play with @c0ntrasas the TROUT Quintet: we want to see fish emoji’s in the comments please 🐟 In the concert you will also be able to learn more about this incredible piece and dive deeply into Schubert’s music! 24th September don’t miss it!!

Minds are buzzing with ideas, notebooks are overflowing, moodboards everywhere and most importantly… @seida_ensemble is cooking up some pretty epic music. @concerto21.akademie has made us explode with inspiration and forced us to focus on who we truly are and what we really want to do. Let‘s go!
