Before creating Calvin and Hobbes, Bill Watterson spent years facing rejection. His original comic, The Dog House, went nowhere, but one editor noticed something: the most interesting part was a young boy and his stuffed tiger. Watterson rebuilt the entire concept around them, and after nearly five years of setbacks, Calvin and Hobbes launched in 1985. Today, it’s considered one of the greatest comic strips ever created.

“The gift of kindness you’ve gained and the courage I’ve given you will remain with us, and that will forever bind us together” - Yami Yugi

To the true king of games and a man who created a world which made so many believe they could be a hero, thank you, and may you rest in peace. Thank you for inspiring me and so many others along your journey. And may the heart of the cards last forever. It’s your move ! 🖤🕊 by @constellation

Fullmetal Alchemist is too good 🤣🦾

Edward: “Water, 35 liters. Carbon, 20 kilograms. Ammonia, 4 liters. Lime, 1.5 kilograms. Phosphorus, 800 grams. Salt, 250 grams. Saltpeter, 100 grams. Sulfur, 80 grams. Fluorine, 7.5. Iron, 5. Silicon, 3 grams. And trace amounts of 15 other elements.”

Rose: “What’s that?”

Edward: “It’s all the ingredients of the average adult human body, down to the last specks of protein in your eyelashes.”

Real 🖤

Soul Eater is a chaotic symphony, not just about defeating evil, but confronting the madness within yourself. Its students are taught to hunt monsters, but the real battle is against fear, doubt and the fragile edges of their own sanity. At the center is Maka Albarn alongside Soul Evans, chasing strength and the idea of being “cool” in a world where confidence and insecurity constantly collide. Around them, Black☆Star screams his existence into the world while Death the Kid clings to symmetry, trying to make perfect a reality that refuses to be. Soul Eater was never really about becoming perfect. In the end, the real question isn’t how you defeat madness, it’s whether you can accept it without losing yourself.
