BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH??! Sign us up. As we’ve all seen on TikTok, the Roka brunch has been on everyone’s list and rightfully so! The brunch comes to £70pp and that covers unlimited wine, rose or Prosecco and a bellini to start, 10 small plates, 1 main per person (we had 3), sides and dessert, which is amazing 🤩.

- mixed lettuce salad with caramelised onion dressing
- potato salad with spicy mayonnaise and japanese vegetables
- chef's sashimi selection
- cucumber maki with umeboshi and roasted sesame seeds

- japanese fried chicken with chilli mayo
- prawn dumplings with yuzu truffle dressing

We’re back again and this time we went for a lunch date at Zuma and everything was soo good! Zuma is a japanese restaurant and it has a wide menu and that’s one of our favourite cuisines too. This was a first for us and definitely a treat but it was definitely worth it, they lived up to their hype 😍

The best things on the menu would definitely be the lamb chops, yellow tail sashimi and spicy tuna maki!they were incredible. The service too was really really good, they were fast and attentive. The ambience is also really nice and warm, perfect for intimate settings with friends or significant others ☺️.

One of our fave dessert spots in london! since we started making sticky toffee pudding ourselves we wanted to have it from other places and this one is delicious. It’s just the right amount so you don’t feel too sickly. The waffle cup was also yummy, the marshmallow fluff is interesting but good too! Our fave is still the sticky toffee though so make sure to try it if you haven’t !😍😍

Fatt Pundit is an asian fusion (indochinese) restaurant with two branches in Soho and Covent Garden. It’s been on our list for a long time and we finally went! The food was really good and the ambience is also great, nice and intimate. The service was also good, they were quick and attentive which is always nice. We got quite a few things and they were so yummy. The food is also really affordable as you can see from the prices which makes this restaurant even more attractive 😍. Overall, we’d definitely visit here again and we’d say the lamb chops and tiger prawn curry were definitely the best things that we had🤤

Back with another brunch spot! We found this place on TikTok and added it to our list because the french toast looked amazing! The french toast was quite good if we must say but not better than Christopher’s 🥲.

We got:

- FRENCH TOAST WITH MAPLE SYRUP - £10.50

- TRUFFLE FRIES - £5.50

- SPICY CHICKEN WINGS - £6.95

- HOT CHOCOLATE - £6.50

Although the wings looked good, they were quite disappointing. A solid 4/10, they tasted like wings drenched in buffalo sauce and we were not a fan. The fries were good too but we’ve definitely had better, so like a 6/10. Lastly, the hot chocolate, this was really good, we ordered it with cream on top and it was great. Smooth and chocolatey and not too sweet! 8/10 🥰.
•
Overall our experience was quite good, the french toast is worth going back for so if that’s your thing definitely give this place a try.
•
Side note - a large bottle of still water was TEN BRITISH POUNDS🫣🥹so just keep that in mind.

This forest themed restaurant in the heart of London is simply beautiful. The aesthetic took us by surprise but makes it very cozy and just amazing, also very suitable for date night or if you wanna treat yourself! We went there for a late lunch, it was nice and quiet which we liked and the service was really good too! They were fast and attentive

Calamar (calamari) £16 - This is always a good shout when ordering starters. It was the right balance between crispy and also tender, just how it is meant to be!

Al Espeto Langostino (Imperial king prawn) £38 - This was super tasty but we were disappointed at the quantity we were given for the price. It was one prawn😅

Costilla Huacatay (Black mint marinated lamb chops) £38 - This came with the most amazing mint sauce on the side, the pairing made it even nicer and it was cooked to perfection

Picanton Caipira (fresh corriander baby chicken) £26

If lockdown showed us anything (besides how to make banana bread lol) it was birria tacos!!😭 they’re literally everywhere now but the best ones are apparently in camden market and we might have to agree even though they’re the only ones we’ve tried 🙈. They’re so FULL of flavour and meat is so tender wow 🤤. definitely one of camden’s best food stalls so if you haven’t been now you have all the more reason to!

What are weekends in london without brunch dates?! We do love a good brunch spread. We’ve been visiting a couple places for brunch recently and we must note these places are MUST try spots.

Restaurants:
- @christopherswc2 : This is one of our fave places 🥰 the roast peach french toast pretty much has us in a chokehold 🤷🏽‍♀️ lool. Last time we were here we also got their truffle fries and the wagyu burger. Amazing. especially the truffle fries!! 10/10, deffo going back AGAIN just to get those. Maybe next time we’ll try out their lunch or dinner menus, we’ve heard great things. •
- @chilternfirehouse : Anyone who has seen their pancakes knows they’re a must try!! We paired the buttermilk pancakes with fried chicken and it was the perfect combo 🤩.The pancakes are super fluffy and just perfect! They gave what they needed to give because these pancakes were pan-caking 😂. •
- @grind This is a really cute cafe and the food was really good. We visited the on in Greenwich. We had the classic poached eggs, avocado on toast and we also tried their chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was top tier. It had some fresh slaw in it which gave it a nice edge. Will highly recommend this sandwich if you feel like getting a cute light bite.
