When I started conversations with Trudy during the pandemic, I didn’t realize then that it was preparing me for moments like these.

Public speaking was never something I’ve been thrilled about, but I’ve learned that sometimes growth happens quietly. You say yes to one opportunity, then another, and somewhere along the way, the thing that once made you uncomfortable starts to feel a little more natural.

Today, I’m in Nashville for Law.com’s Women, Influence & Power in Law conference, where I’ll be moderating a conversation with some incredible legal leaders.

Still a little nervous. Still much more comfortable asking the questions than being on the other end of the microphone. 😊 But also grateful for every experience that helped prepare me to be here.

Here’s to continuing to step outside the comfort zone. by @conversationswithtrudy

I’m so happy we were able to provide food supplies for our community of Robins Hall/Malton in Manchester in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. Huge thank you to all our donors. 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️

I did something big!

Last Monday, I took on the biggest milestone of my career so far—moderating a panel at Legalweek, New York’s biggest legal conference. It was an incredible opportunity that stretched me in ways I hadn’t experienced before—from preparing thoughtful questions to guiding a dynamic conversation in front of an audience. I’m proud of how I stepped into this role and led with intention, curiosity, and confidence.

What made it even more meaningful? The people who believed in me. When self-doubt crept in, my editor-in-chief said, “I believe you’ll do great.” And my daughter, niece, and friends told me, “This is what Conversations with Trudy has been preparing you for.”

I felt supported, seen, and ready—and I love them for that.

Grateful for the experience and excited for what’s ahead!
