THE MYTHIC ASTEROID WORKSHOP SERIES
I am also SO excited to announce that I am doing the asteroid workshop series again this year! But 5 weeks instead of 3!

The mythic asteroids work differently from the planets in an astrology chart, but they can still be very important to your life! They can provide more specific insights into the chart, that sometimes even the planets can miss. This series is a deep dive into these lesser known astrological bodies, and how their stories and myths can light up your chart in new and powerful ways.

*Some general knowledge of Astrology is preferred, but not required, as these stories can teach you even if you don’t fully understand the chart just yet. We will also go over parameters for understanding when an asteroid is prominent in your chart.

Together we will:
-Uncover the myths you were born to mirror
-Explore asteroid placements that shape your personal story
-Integrate these archetypes through creative and reflective practices
-Learn how to recognize the prominent deities
-Understand where myth comes from and why it is still important
-Dive deeper into the astronomy and naming conventions of asteroids
-Find your most prominent myth and how to carry it with you
-Connect with like-minded seekers in a small, supportive setting (everyone will get a chance to share a story)

You will get:
-A PDF of all 30k asteroids in your chart
-An asteroid workbook PDF
-And either a copy or a discount on Book 1 of the encyclopedia! If all goes right (retrogrades pending)!
-Sneak peaks into the other 4 books!
-A WhatsApp group chat for updates and other findings!

Be prepared to share personal stories (if you feel open to it) as that is where the asteroids come to life!

Workshops will be Wednesday nights in November and December.
November 18th – December 16th. 7-8:30pm EST (plus an optional half hour 8:30-9pm if you’d like to stay and chat!)
We start the week of the book release!!!

To sign up send an email to:
lori.kaufman27@gmail.com
and venmo:
lori-kaufman27

PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR BIRTHDATE, LOCATION, AND TIME OF BIRTH IN THE EMAIL!!

I’m so excited to do this again 💙

EIGHT years ago, I started a document to start keeping track of the mythic asteroids I was researching.

What began as curiosity turned into thousands of hours of mythology, astrology, obscure texts, research rabbit holes, and eventually… a book (or 5 😂).

And now I can finally say it:

The Asteroid Encyclopedia (VOLUME 1) is coming November 16!!! 🏺✨

This isn’t just a book about what the asteroids “mean.”

It’s an exploration of the mythology, astrology, and astronomy behind these names. Where these stories came from, what they have carried through time, and how we can begin using them as living archetypes in the birth chart.

TO CELEBRATE:

📖 Book 1: Releasing November 16
🔭 Exclusive asteroid research + previews: On Substack and Tiktok
🏺 Live your Personal Myth asteroid astrology class: A 5-week class diving into how to find YOUR personal myth. (I AM SO EXCITED TO DO THIS CLASS AGAIN BUT EXPANDED)

*Save the date: *Wednesday Nights November 18th – December 16th 7pm EST*

Asteroid reports and readings available too (swipe for details)

More details coming soon. This will open up to Substack and Email list people first.

If you’ve ever wanted to go beyond the planets and explore the thousands of mythic stories written into the asteroid belt, this is your invitation to come along.

I’m collecting emails now for the book release, behind-the-scenes research, and first access to information about the upcoming class.

I also am going to start publishing sneak peaks and certain asteroid entries on both the free and paid version of my substack! So be sure to catch those there. Let me know who you want to see.

I am SO EXCITED to finally share this work with you all.
More soon 💙 taken in Cincinnati by @conversationswplanets

In this podcast episode, astrologers Alicia Cielle Heiser and Lori Kaufman talk about the mythology and astrology of goddesses who gave birth in exile, particularly Leto and Maia from Greek mythology.
Giving birth and becoming a mother can be a difficult and transformative experience that brings up great changes and can feel quite isolating at times. Connecting with myths of women who gave birth in exile can be a nourishing balm to help new mothers and others who are undergoing great change in their lives.

We tried something different and recorded part of our SIRG meeting last month!

This episode is a special recording of an NCGR Asteroid SIRG meeting hosted by astrologers Lori Kaufman and Alicia Cielle Heiser. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 4 PM Pacific/7 PM Eastern time. If you’re interested in joining us for future meetings, you can follow our free Patreon here.
In this podcast episode, we talk about the mythology of Uni
(#55637), the Etruscan queen of the gods and goddess of fertility, family and union. Similar to Juno and Hera, Uni is a goddess who can hold us through times of struggle and growth and helps us understand what we need out of family and community. Technically a Trans-Neptunian Object, we also discuss the difference between asteroids and TNOs and how to interpret TNOs in an astrology chart.

Join us on the 18th (Tuesday) at 7 est for our next meeting!!

A profound mythic healer, the asteroid Asclepius can illuminate fascinating components of one’s healing journey.
In this Conversations with the Planets podcast episode, we have Dr. Travis Elliott join us to talk about deep lunar feminine practices that incorporate dreaming and stillness to encourage healing.
We talk about the impact that the asteroids Asclepius and his daughters, including Hygiea, Panacea and Aegle can have in a birth chart and by transit.
Asteroids to look up in your birth chart:
1813,10,158,4581,1027,2878,96,12152,4086
Travis Elliott is a naturopathic physician whose sole focus is to help his clients work with their symptoms as agents of transformation, rather than pushing against them.
After growing frustrated with conventional approaches to health, he’s created a structure of intuitive healing that works deeply with emotions, alchemical plant medicine, and astrology.
