Another cracking lunch at @thefoxpenllyn today kicking off with the mouth watering sharing snack platter comprising of:-
Juicy Olives & Feta
Fresh Warm Bread
Pickles
Parmesan Hash Browns with Crispy Bacon
Honey Mustard Sausages
Burrata
Smoked Charcuterie
All deliciously moreish - could pick at this all day - thoroughly recommended 😋😋

Mains today comprised of Hereford Beef Pie with the famous Buttery Mash topping, Lamb with Roast Beetroot, Feta and Pickled Cucumber, Coley (more mash😊) and the Chicken Scrumpet with a Caesar Salad and the compulsory side of Parmesan Chips and some Honey Roasted Carrots which were excellent.
Did manage to squeeze a Chocolate & Cherry cake to finish 🤭

No one leaves the Fox hungry, generous portions, tasty food and fabulous service (oh and a hug from @cook.ceri 😊) perfect afternoon. taken in The Fox at Penllyn by @cook.ceri

Thinking of framing this! I know I’m smug but… I actually have completed every single puzzle in the book and used the same pen for them all too - summer holiday goals smashed this year!

Needed this today!

Was so lucky to bag myself the last custard slice in the shop today ☺️ Has to be the best custard slice I’ve ever had - and I’ve sampled a few!

So excited for the @fablasltd shop in #cowbridge to open properly, it’s going to be so special ❤️🥂

Goodbye ❤️

So today we had a little farewell dinner with the @rocketrye team ❤️

I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever been more proud. Hospitality is hard. Harder at the moment than ever. These incredible, awesome, lovely guys have been the best. When we told them a couple of months ago we were selling, so that we could leave this industry with our heads held high after an incredible twelve years, after winning the @goodfoodguideuk best local restaurant in Wales, they all stayed until the very end. We told them that they didn’t need to worry about working notices and if they found something in the meantime they should do what’s best for them, but they all chose to stay with us until the very end ❤️

Great teams really do make the absolute best places - and our team was the very best. Thanks guys, for everything! by @cook.ceri
