In the month of August, I got to go play an amazing big disc golf tournament this year called The 2026 PDGA Amateur Worlds Championship in Buffalo, NY thanks to my amazing family! This was my first return to the Amateur Worlds Championship since 2021 in Orlando, FL. I was also the only Southern California registered player to compete as well! It also has marked 18 years that I have been playing and competing. I also got to go play a disc golf course in Canada (I went late in the afternoon into early evening on the 8/14/26). I got see familiar faces, meet new players from around the world, see a different part of the Empire State and also visit family on Martha’s Vineyard, MA. This tournament also got me 780 points as I finished T232 out of 283 registered players in MA1. The FA1 ladies got to play some fun courses as well. Seeing Niagara Falls at night was awesome! Thank you to my family for giving me the opportunity to travel this year as an early birthday present. Go out and go travel as much as possible as you never know what life throws at you! @pdga_amworlds @socaldgc @innovadiscs @westsidegolfdiscs @latitude_64 @legacydiscs #pdga #discgolfdaily #womendiscgolf @chavez.ridge.dgc @lamiradadgc @huntingtonbeachdiscgolf @oakgrovediscgolfclub @womensdiscgolf #naturephotography #discgolfeveryday @newyorkdiscgolf @sylmardiscgolfclub taken in Pacific Palisades by @cook68679

Today I played the Innova Replay disc golf tournament at @og_oakgrovedisccourse and won MA2 (Intermediate division; out of 7 players) finishing at -7 (9 birdies and 2 bogeys). I got to play with @summertimesue22 , @mhornddc and @haileybabes_fitz . It was a great cool summer day and played with 3 new discs: Innova Replay Fox, Innova Replay Valkrie, and Innova Replay Xero Glow Pro. I also used 3 of my discs: Latitude 64 Zero Soft Spike Putter), Legacy Outlaw and Dynamic Discs Supreme Trespass! This is my first tournament win ( non-sanctioned PDGA event) in 2026! Yesterday, I played the Summertime Open presented by Legacy Discs and finished in 2nd place out of 14 players (lost by 1 stroke) and above my rating (currently 889 but tournament was 936). Thank you to the La Cadenita ladies for the fun event! I recently played the Cachuma Classic disc golf tournament last weekend! Finished +14 for 4 rounds (1 round Friday, 2 rounds Saturday and 1 round on Sunday; it put me 10th out of 11 in MA2). This was my first time playing the event as I have not played it before. I last played the Cachuma Lake at the 2025 So Cal Am Championship in November. The Mohawk course had a lot more water due to all the recent rain storms in the beginning of the year. I started on Main Course Hole #12 but I did something amazing. Before the tournament started, I got a practice Ace on Hole 13! My 2025 So Cal Legacy Outlaw skipped into the basket on a forehand throw. If I had thrown it during the round, I would have won over $400 (it is also my 8th Ace). I last Aced here since November 2021 on Main Hole 9. It was a fun event and good barbecue. I also to explore more of Solvang as well thanks to @haileybabes_fitz . Today I played the Chino Ice Bowl 2026, supported by Innova Disc Golf at Prado Disc Golf Course in Chino ,CA. This was my 2nd time playing it as I played it in 2023. It was 18 holes with holes 200 feet or shorter and this was a charity tournament. I bought 35 Mulligans and only used 16 to finish my best ever round in my disc golf tournaments at -18! I got to play with Tom Vincent, Robert Smith, Ryan Pimentel, and Nico Mata. However, I did not win the event as Camille Smith finished at -19 with an Ace (there were at least 5 players also at -18). Thank you Innova Discs, Joshua Cheney, and Nathan Weaver for the fun event. I mostly used the following discs: Innova Fox, Innova Firebird, Legacy Outlaw, Latitude 64 Striker, Latitude 64 Spike, Ohn Scoggins Aviar Putter, etc.#discgolfdaily #innovadiscs #socaldiscgolf #socaldiscgolfclub #westsidediscs @innovadiscs @legacydiscs @empowereddiscgolf @dynamicdiscs @discraftdiscgolf @pdga nomads taken in Prado Regional Park by @cook68679

I got to play the 48th Wintertime Open Pro Weekend at the worlds first disc golf course at Oak Grove! I finished in 41st out of 44th amazing players and it was fun 3 days with great weather. I played the 48th Wintertime Open AM Weekend the prior weekend to finish tied for 5th in MA2 at +5. This weekend was a lot harder and I had some rough holes that put me out. I improved each round and finished above my 896 rating each round. I got to witness some history as @ohnscoggins_48976 won the FPO field! I also got to chat with @julianakorver and @oates3527 and see the new MPO champion @dallasgarberdg win against the great Josh Anthon on a 3 hole sudden death playoff. I got to play with @loganriding @socalwandererdiscgolf K Vegas Sterling, @eliasss9494 @schrockdg and @sethdgregory for the last 3 days. It takes a lot of patience, discipline, respect and determination to be a pro player. It also has been over 1 year since the January 7th fires that burned Pacific Palisades and Altadena as last year was my first MPO event. I have been playing since the summer of 2008, PDGA has me playing since 2014 (1 event in 2010 and in 2013). My first MPO was the 39th Wintertime Open Pro in 2017. @innovadiscs @oakgrovediscgolfclub @oakgrovedgc @westsidegolfdiscs @latitude_64 @legacydiscs @dynamicdiscs @orangetheoryla @otfbrentwoodla @socaldgc @womensdiscgolf @pdga_wge #ohnscoggins #julianakorver #dallasgarber #nomads #womensupportingwomen @nature @pasadenaparksandrec @lacanadaflintridge @pacificpalisadesliving taken in Oak Grove Disc Golf Course by @cook68679

Today was an awesome disc golf day! I played with my Nomads group at El Dorado disc golf course @eldoradodgc finished -3 (20 holes). Next was the So Cal Series Fun Round tournament finished -6 (18 holes) and then 9 hole doubles finished -7! @ohnscoggins_48976 was here selling discs and it was great catching up again. The banquet was at Steady Brewery. I received two prestigious awards for the So Cal Series (2025 Iron Golfer So Cal Disc Golf Club for most tournaments at 22 events and 2025 Nichol’s Cup So Cal Disc Golf Club for 412 points). I have been playing 17 years and have never ever received awards like these! I also finished 2nd in MA2 and received a special invite to the 2026 So Cal vs Nor Cal Invitational 1/31/26 and 2/1/26 at Waller Park in Santa Maria, CA! I played a ton of events this year as this is a record for me. I kept practicing and having a positive attitude and respect to people and players. @innovadiscs @westsidegolfdiscs @socaldgc @legacydiscs #women #frisbee #socaldisc #socaldiscgolfclub #socaldiscgolf @dynamicdiscs @discmaniadiscs #nature #womensupportingwomen #discgolfdaily #discgolflife #discgolfeveryday taken in Steady Brew Beer by @cook68679

While I was vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard, MA from July 22nd to July 30th, I did something I have never done in 17 years! I got my first MV disc golf Ace (hole in one) on the 17th hole White tee pad 276ft during the final week of Riverhead Field Tuesday Summer League!! There was an Ace Pot of $89.00! I finished Even in 9th out of 20 players. Thank you to Rick Kerns for playing and being a witness! I threw my blue 20th Anniversary Tresspass that I ordered when I won the 3rd Annual Lawson Memorial Tournament at Waller Park in Santa Maria, CA. This was also my 7th Ace since I starred playing in August 2008. This was also before I started my new job as well! I had a great vacation visiting family and relaxing.

Today I did something extraordinary! I won in MA2 The El Dorado Open by finishing -8 (-4 1st round and -4 for 2nd round of 23 holes)
and I won by 1 stroke! It was a fun unique layout here at the El Dorado Disc Golf Course @eldoradodgc #eldoradodiscgolfcourse #eldoradodiscgolf as I play this sometimes on Tuesday’s for the league or NOMADs league. This is also my 1st So Cal Win this year and 2nd win in MA2!! I have been playing strong lately and continue to lose weight as well. I used the following discs today: Westside World, Latitude 64 Soft Spike, Striker, Legacy Rival, Dynamic Discs Trespass, Truth, Innova Mamba, etc. Thank you to my card mates both rounds: Ryan Abhold, Micah Aramburo, Cody Athan, and Phillip Noriega! You guys made it fun and challenging today. Thank you to Jon DeCapua for letting me get your spot in this event! It was great seeing everyone and congratulations to all the amazing athletes that competed @latitude_64 innovadiscs @westsidegolfdiscs @legacydiscs #latitude64 #westsidediscs @dynamicdiscs #womensdiscsports #womensdiscgolf #golf #frisbee #socaldiscgolf @socaldiscgolf @socaldgc #socaldiscgolfclub #nomads @nomadsdgc @discgolfstrong @otfshermanoaks #zoozfitness @zoozfitness @oakgrovediscgolfclub #oakgrovedisc @pdga #pdga #socaldgc @socaldgc taken in El Dorado Disc Golf Course by @cook68679

I played the 3rd Annual Lawson Williams Memorial Tournament C-tier at Waller Park in Santa Maria, CA. I got first place in MA2 finishing -10 total (-5 on Saturday and -5 on Sunday). This is my 5th PDGA win and 4th in MA2. Today I had some rough holes but had 11 birdies. I was in 2nd place today at the start as the leader was 3 strokes ahead and I played strong until the final hole. I had not played #wallerparkdgc since January 2024. I used my Blue Dynamic Disc Trespass, Westside World, Westside Bear, Latitude 64 Spike putter and other discs. I had great card mates for both rounds. @socaldgc @innovadiscs @westsidegolfdiscs @dynamicdiscs @womensdiscgolf @growthesportdiscgolf #growthesportdg #growthesport #socaldiscgolf #socaldiscgolfclub #nomads @la_nomads_dgc @og_oakgrovedisccourse @pdga #pdga #nevergiveup @legacydiscs taken in Waller Park by @cook68679
