Marinated peppers aka the perfect side dish!! Your guests will be wowed 👌🏼

6 colourful peppers
½ cup good-quality olive oil
½ cup red wine vinegar
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
lots of freshly chopped garlic
2 tsp honey
fresh parsley or any fresh herbs you have
salt and black pepper to taste

1. Roast peppers until very charred. Place them in a bowl and cover with cling film to allow them to steam up. This will make it easier to peel them!
2. Chop the onions, combine with red wine vinegar and let them marinate for a bit
3. Peel and slice the peppers, chop the garlic and combine with the rest of the ingredients
4. Pop in the fridge and enjoy the next day. They keep for about 2 weeks and the longer they sit the better they taste 😉 taken in London, England by @cookinmyflat

One of those places in Crete that I know I’ll keep coming back to...

We went to Kanali in Elounda three times during this trip… and honestly, I would’ve happily gone again

The salt-baked sea bass is the obvious star of the show 🔥🐟 but the whole experience is what makes it so special

Small plates (which aren't actually small) filled with ridiculously good Greek food, the sea right beside you, and long, slow holiday evenings where your wine glass never stays empty

If you’re heading to Crete, save this one 🇬🇷
