Who has never felt lost? During the pandemic, many people felt lost, not knowing what to do and wondering about the future. I was one of those people. I’ve always been a person totally open to exploring my creativity to the fullest. During the pandemic, feeling the pressure of isolation, I looked for alternatives to spend my time in a lighter way. Intuitively and as an escape valve, I set out to study and do things I had never done before. I believed that this could be a potential moment of rediscovery. I discovered the universe of candles and rugs at the same time. It was something totally new, different from anything I had ever done before. It was when I decided to buy a small starter kit to make my first candles, as a way to pass some time. Right away I fell in love with the whole process. As I went deeper and learned more about these two universes, I realized that in addition to a passion, it was a business opportunity. As soon as the world started to return to normality, I went to specializing myself. I took a course on candles and went to Philadelphia to attend a rug workshop. Having this contact in a professional way encouraged me to create my own brand. I know that the challenges are just beginning and the journey will be long. This has been a year of tremendous growth, learning, and hard work! It’s been a year where we’ve solidified much of our brand, and in the day-to-day, we’ve learned how challenging it is to embark on the journey of entrepreneurship and build a brand from scratch.
