Thirteen years ago, we brought home a cute little “shepherd mix” from the Humane Society.

We couldn’t have dreamed up a sweeter pup. Pixel was a beloved part of our family, and I’m so thankful the boys were able to love her and be loved by her.

We said goodbye three weeks ago, and things still don’t feel right.

It was amazing to see Puerto Rico so beautifully represented with so much love last night. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful island as part of the United States of America. If you’ve never been, you must — it’s simply a part of our country that you have to experience. The land, the people, the food, the music 🤌 by @coomer

Stopped drinking in 2024. Haven’t hooped in as long. Replaced it with a year of yoga, long enough to quit, long enough to miss it, now locking back in while raising two wild critters and barreling into an action-packed season full of change.

Goodbye to a year of creativity. Audacious campaigns. Good adventures. Great people. And all the blood, sweat & tears that come with building something special.

The Scout ran out of gas twice. We built a boutique hotel. Won new accounts. Lost a pants size. Made a few decent playlists. Got kicked out of Carbone. Learned how to make good sushi rice. Hacked algorithms. Snuggled our 13yo Coconut Corn Husky, Pixel. Rode bikes to school in the snow. Gave piggyback rides. Snacked. Built sandcastles. Lost a lot. Celebrated wins. Spent time with good friends. Read a lot (mostly audiobooks). Rested.

Congratulations to our friends in Kentucky’s Bluegrass Region for their BEST IN SHOW at the KTIA Traverse Awards for Excellence in Kentucky Tourism. 🏆

My only regret? Not filming a mini-doc of Senora’s songwriting process. She was struck by a melody on her drive to the studio, and what was meant to be a VO session turned into a spontaneous songwriting moment — a composition that became the soul of the animated spot featuring @hallwayfeeds, @minguabeefjerky, @ruthhuntcandy, and @ale8one — some of our favorite road snacks when exploring the region’s backroads.
