“Better wrap em up son.” -Mr. Hampton

“But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like someone looking at his own face in a mirror. For he looks at himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of person he was.”

Control the controllable.

“LORD, you are my lamp; the LORD illuminates my darkness. With you I can attack a barricade, and with my God I can leap over a wall. God — his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is pure. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him. For who is God besides the LORD? And who is a rock? Only our God. God is my strong refuge; he makes my way perfect.”

“Worthy He has been, Worthy He will be!”

Super Summer is always a great time to zone in and grow closer with God along with other people! This year we learned how to become better leaders. To not only demand it from other people, but to act as well. Much love for @mssupersummer and @yellowschoolms.

“If you give the devil an inch, he’ll take you a mile.”

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”

“Control what you can control.”

“So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat? ’ or ‘What will we drink? ’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭31‬-‭34‬ ‭

It’s always great to see how God works in my daily walk along with others! They talked about how during our walk with Christ we WILL make mistakes. It’s how we respond to those mistakes that make us who we are supposed to be. Acknowledge that we messed up and fix it. Love going to FCA camp every year and seeing how God’s love is so evident in our lives!

“Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways.” This is the Lord’s declaration. “For as heaven is higher than earth, so my ways are higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

“God doesn’t give us what we can handle, God helps us handle what we are given.”

This year by far was one to remember. The good times AND the bad times. Whether it was starting off the year strong winning games or if it was tearing your ACL in the 5th game of the season. It’s all apart of God’s plan for us in life. We have to trust that God is in control and that everything is for a reason. I gonna miss those seniors that poured into me and the memories we’ve made since the day i got here but we halfway there.

““You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭

Super Summer ‘25

Colossians 3:2-4

God is a very loving God, but God is also a God that works in very mysterious ways! And man did he do that this week! He revealed stuff in my life that I hadn’t wanted to see in a long time. It is more important to “fit out” than “fit in.” SS week is always a good week to stop, wait, and listen to what God has for us everyday!! Yellow School Next!!!

“I’m fighting a battle
You’ve already won
No matter what comes my way
I will overcome
I don’t know what You’re doing
But I know what You’ve done
I’m fighting a battle
You’ve already won”

So on fire for God that my feet felt it too!!🔥

What a couple few days!! I came to camp expecting to get nothing out of it but man does the Lord work in ways you don’t even know! God showed me to find validation in him and him alone. I was trying to find my validation in sports and in relationships. God has shown me that I don’t have to worry what others think because his validation is all that matters!

“GOD CAN’T DEAL WITH A SIN YOU DON’T LAY AT HIS FEET!”

Proverbs 28:13- “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”

Word Of The Wise: It’s not a good idea to run barefoot on a burning hot football field!!!

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and pressing toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
