This was a real “pinch me” moment for our team here at Coord Health.

Our mission is to add much-needed support to the women’s health system by bringing convenient and compassionate care to women — and making it *easy* for this care to work both with doctors’ offices and local communities.

We are approaching a 10K+ OB/GYN shortage in the U.S. which leads to impossible conditions for clinicians & patients alike. That is exactly the strain we’re aiming to chip away at — starting with our nutrition care.

By their teens, most women have tried a diet or otherwise experienced some hurdles when it comes to body and food. This only gets more complex as life goes on — with new diagnoses, demanding work schedules, health risk factors, family and more. We’re here and doing the work every single day to make sure women are not walking that path alone.

Our incredible dietitians work tirelessly to support our patients across all ages and stages — and we do it in-network with most major insurance plans, which means most women pay little to nothing out of pocket to see us.

We’re so excited to continue working hard every day to improve the women’s health system. If you could use dietitian support, come see us. If you’re a clinician who wants this kind of support at your practice, email us at info@coordhealth.com. We’re here and we’re ready!

Thank you for the amazing story @ksullivannews 💜💜💜 by @coord_health

Why did Coord Health launch with nutrition counseling as our first service? Hear from our Founder, Christina! It’s been an honor to launch with Registered Dietitian counseling for women (covered by insurance) — and be trusted by the community, including our amazing OBGYN partners, for our care!

… and yes, I am speaking in the third person as if it’s not me also typing this caption 😆 We’re a small company, okay!! by @coord_health

Movement is medicine, and it doesn’t have to be complicated 💪

Research shows that adults should aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity each week. That’s just 30 minutes a day, five days a week. Walking, cycling, dancing, and even taking a brisk walk after a meal can help you work toward this goal.

Regular physical activity supports cardiovascular health, helps regulate blood sugar, improves mood, and promotes better sleep. For women, movement is also an important part of supporting bone health and maintaining strength throughout different life stages.

You don’t need an intense workout or a perfect routine to experience the benefits. Start where you are, find movement you genuinely enjoy, and focus on consistency rather than perfection. Your body deserves movement as a form of care, not punishment. by @coord_health

A snack that’s as nourishing as it is satisfying 🥒

This tuna, onion, cucumber, and dill dip paired with crunchy crackers is an easy way to make snack time more balanced. Tuna provides protein to support muscle maintenance and repair, while also offering omega-3 fatty acids that support heart and brain health. Cucumber adds hydration and crunch, and pairing your dip with whole-grain crackers can provide fiber to support digestion and gut health.

For women, nourishing snacks are an opportunity to support your energy, meet your nutritional needs, and feel satisfied between meals. Remember, healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it’s as simple as combining foods you love to create something delicious and nourishing. by @coord_health

You CAN do hard things 🤍

Growth doesn’t always happen when life feels easy. Sometimes, it happens when you show up on the days you feel overwhelmed, keep going when progress feels slow, and give yourself grace when things don’t go as planned.
Your strength is built in the moments you choose to keep going. Trust yourself, celebrate the small wins, and remember that you are capable of more than you think. You don’t have to have it all figured out to take the next step.

At Coord Health, we believe in empowering women to nourish their bodies, prioritize their well-being, and trust themselves through every season of life. You are stronger than you know, and you don’t have to do it all alone. by @coord_health

Healthy eating does NOT mean eating perfectly!

Research shows that overall dietary patterns are more important for health than any single meal or food. And for women, nutrition plays an important role in supporting energy, bone health, reproductive health, heart health, and overall well-being across different stages of life.

You do not need to follow a perfect diet to nourish your body. One meal, dessert, missed workout, or less nutritious day does not erase your progress. At Coord Health, we believe women deserve nutrition guidance that supports health without the perfectionism and guilt of diet culture. by @coord_health

Small vegetable, big nutrition 🥦

Broccoli is packed with vitamin C, vitamin K, folate, and fiber. One cup of chopped raw broccoli provides about 81 mg of vitamin C, which supports immune function and helps improve the absorption of non-heme iron from plant foods. It also contains glucosinolates, plant compounds that break down into compounds such as sulforaphane that are being studied for their potential role in cellular health.

Add it to stir-fries, grain bowls, salads, pasta, or simply roast it with your favorite seasonings for an easy nutrient-dense side. by @coord_health

You need to nourish to flourish 🪷

Your body needs consistent nourishment to support energy, focus, hormones, immunity, and overall health. Nourishing yourself is not about eating perfectly. It is about giving your body the nutrients and energy it needs to function, recover, and thrive.

At Coord Health, we believe nutrition is about MORE than food. It is about giving women the knowledge and support to nourish their bodies at every stage of life. by @coord_health

Calories are only one piece of the nutrition picture 🫜

For example, a food may provide calories while also contributing protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, or healthy fats that support different functions throughout the body. In fact, the Dietary Guidelines for Americans emphasize nutrient-dense foods that provide important vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial components without excessive added sugars, saturated fat, or sodium.

Instead of asking, “How many calories does this have?” try asking, “What is this food providing for my body?” Nutrition is about the quality and overall pattern of what you eat, not just a single number. by @coord_health

Simple, sweet, and satisfying 🍎🥜🍫

Apples provide fiber and vitamin C, while peanut butter adds protein and healthy fats to help make this snack more filling.

A sprinkle of chocolate chips adds a little sweetness, proving that nourishing snacks can still include the foods you enjoy.
Sometimes, the best snacks are the simple ones. by @coord_health

It’s NEVER too late to choose yourself.

Whether you’re starting a new habit, prioritizing your health, changing your relationship with food, or simply giving yourself more grace, you can begin exactly where you are. Progress doesn’t have an expiration date, and one small choice today can be the beginning of something meaningful.

Give yourself permission to start again, start differently, or start for the first time. by @coord_health
