Usually, we start our New Years post off with stats and numbers to illustrate how many places we went, and how many projects we worked on. This year, however, we were so busy running around, having fun and making cool stuff with cool people, that we forgot to keep track, so you’ll just have to take our word for it! With every year that passes we are reminded how blessed we are to have a job that never feels like work. We wouldn’t trade a single long day in the field, or a late, coffee fueled night at the office for anything else in the world. Telling stories is what we love to do, and we are thankful we have the opportunity to wake up every day and do just that. To all of our clients and friends (and really we use those terms interchangeably because we always come away from every project with more friends than we went into it with), Thank You! Thank you for trusting us with your vision, allowing us to tell your stories, and having an awesome time with us out on shoots. Y’all are what make what we do possible and we don’t take that for granted. We’re stoked for another year behind the lens, and are ready to kick 2026 in the teeth. We hope y’all are too. Sound design is often the key to making what you see on screen come to life. Without it, this sequence of shots would be completely silent, and it certainly wouldn’t hit nearly as hard as it does in this final sequence. Every sound you hear in this scene was designed from the ground up, with the intention of giving you, the viewers, the feeling of intensity that you would have felt if you were standing right there. Sound design like this isn’t easy, nor fast (the sound on this 30 second scene took nearly an hour and a half to perfect), but it is the glue that holds it all together, very worth it in our opinion.

After almost a year from concept to final product, “Antler Craze” is finished. By far the most challenging and most rewarding project we have ever taken on. With nearly 2.5 hours of run time it’s the biggest thing we have ever done too. It turned out better than we even imagined. Over 40 people were involved in the making of this documentary, too many to thank but one person I have to thank…Josh Duncan @jcarco5 this doesn’t happened without you dude. Part 2 of 2 | The Official Trailer for “ANTLER CRAZE.”

Long forgotten photographs surfaced, revealing missing sticker points that no longer appeared on The General’s sheds. Questions spread quickly throughout the whitetail world. Had the antlers been altered?

Then came another discovery.

DNA testing confirmed that newly discovered sheds found decades apart belonged to The General, offering an even clearer look at the buck’s final years.

Yet one mystery remains.

No hunter ever harvested him. No one ever found his body. Nearly 70 years later, The General’s story lives on as one of the most remarkable legends in whitetail history.
