There’s a lot of experiences that we get to be a part of throughout the year, a lot of them we wouldn’t change for the world. Being able to tell the stories of our clients, the people that we meet along the way and the animals that they chase is a dream. A dream for us and so many others. The hardest part for all of us is finding a way to break into the industry and be able to pursue this path. To help others learn, grow and make a career in the outdoor world, we host a few annual production and editing classes throughout the year. Our next, coming in March, is an opportunity for motivated people to finally get their chance. If you are one of these people who want to get your foot in the door, the @rednecktechpodcast Spring Production Class is where you need to be.

Hosted here in Dahlonega, GA on March 1st-5th, we will be teaching our students the ins and outs of production, showing them what it takes to make it and revealing the secrets we have learned along the way. If you’re interested in learning more and seizing this opportunity, please reach out. If you have a friend, a neighbor, a sibling or anyone else you know, send them our way.

As some of you may know we have been working on a film on and off in between client work for nearly 2 years. We are now finished with it. If you don’t know the plot then you will have to wait till it is released in Jan, if you do know the plot, keep quiet. This project has been one that has challenged us at Copeland Creative very much. We have spent countless hours going over and back over the story and the emotions and the shots trying to figure out the best way to bring this idea to life in under 10 minutes. It has not been easy. This film has challenged everything we know about content creation and storytelling.

If you know us and our hatred for “hunting short films” you will understand why this is the film we decided to create for our first one. For once, we think at least, the hunting world actually has a short film. There are no sponsors, there are no products to be sold or faces to be shown. Hell there isn’t even a kill shot in the film. All of these things were done for a reason and with a purpose.

The idea for this film came to us driving down the road over 2.5 years ago and we knew it was one we had to tell. This is a story that if you hunt or grew up chasing animals in the woods it will hit home with you. It’s a very personal and emotion film for some. If this story does not hit home for you, I am sorry you never had this fixture in your life. For those of you in which it does strike a chord, you know what to do.

From all of the staff from across the board here at Copeland Creative, we want to wish Caleb the happiest of birthdays after making it another year around the sun!

Another year filled with amazing trips with even better clients. Another year filled with banger projects and films. Another year filled with hunts, fishing trips and everything in between.

We couldn’t do it without you Caleb and wouldn’t want it anything other way!

What a ride it’s been.

Every fall brings hectic times, busy schedules and oh so many memories. We are always thankful for the opportunities, the people and the animals that fill our sights. From being behind the viewfinder, to being behind the bow or rifle, we’ve done it all this year. So blessed for all the moments.

Savor the opportunity, memorialize the stories. Tell the tales of the success, the horrors of the failures and the legends of the ones we dream of. These are the opportunities that we live for.

The most interesting man in the woods.

Some legends are truly that, legends. Some of those legends we get to call friends. Congratulations on one heck of a season thus far and here’s to many more Lee!

Smooth is fast and fast is slow. Sharp knives, clean cuts and a little bit of elbow grease is all it takes.

With heavy loads come great responsibility. That’s why we trust our @kifaru_intl backs to do our heavy lifting. From camera gear to elk and back again! We live in and with these packs year round.
