🪏Volunteer of the Month: Tara Boucher!

Tara Boucher has volunteered with CORA for the past few years. An avid trail runner and hiker, she enjoys Sargeant Park and has shared her passion for the trail projects happening in NKY, eager to help in any way she can. She recently volunteered (with her husky) at the Mitchell Memorial Forest Tree Planting day hosted by Great Parks. With many projects in the works (that we are eager to share about), she has stumbled upon one right in her backyard, and has shared the positive effects it is already having in her community. Her passion is evident and we are honored to work along side her. Thank you, Tara!

Enjoy your gift card, courtesy of @montgomerycyclery!

Landen Deerfield Trail Updates!

These trails are flowing and ready for your next trail adventure. This is the perfect place for beginner mountain bikers, and a fun place to get some speed for the seasoned rider. The flow jump line features a few tabletop jumps, and throughout the trails, there are various rock features for extra jumping fun!

It's scenic and peaceful for hikers and runners, with a few creek crossings, plenty of shade. There is a little bit of everything for everyone here.

Volunteers have prepped the trails for this Saturday's "Take a Kid Mountain Biking" event. All are welcome!

Thanks to @innovativedirtsolutions for the glow up, and thank you to @warrencountyparkdistrict for leading the charge on this project.
