Takedowns are very important to practice especially for self defense! They are commonly overlooked by Jiujitsu athletes, but I sure love to practice Judo and wrestling takedowns. So I put together another clip for you all, I hope y’all enjoy 😊 #Judo #jiujitsulifestyle #jiujitsu by @coreyfernandesbjj

Little recap of my Jiu-jitsu cage fight tonight. Everything was going normal, my walk out was fun and nerves shut off as soon as I got in the cage like usual. I went for the double leg and my opponent sprawled and caught me in a choke as we were scrambling, my rib popped out of place. I continued to fight a little bit longer until I escaped the choke but I tapped due to extreme pain in my chest.. All that being said just want to thank everyone who came out to support my coaches and teammates alike. I had a great time and I’ll be back in the cage October 13!
