Did you know for the same price as store bought butter you can make your very own from scratch and also have buttermilk to cook with afterward? Not only is it a super simple and fulfilling process but it is a game changer in flavor for your recipes. I’ve added some pics of the process and also a few jalapeno cheddar loaves I baked today because I was pleased with the way they came out 🥰 Anyhow, today was a great day at the stand (thank you everyone for another sold out day!!) I will be closed until Tuesday when I return from spending the weekend with my family. As always, thank you everyone with my whole heart for allowing me to fill your tummies. Have a safe and blessed weekend #NicolesCountryCrumbs #Bread #FernandesFarms #Butter #Homemade

My sweet patient found my farm stand today and I was able to offer up some delicious jalapeno cheddar sourdough for him to munch on during dialysis or share with his family if he’s feeling generous. He’s the very first customer to try my new jalapeno cheddar bread and he has to be very choosy about what he eats so I feel very honored to be able to feed him. Side note, there will be a ton of different sourdough flavor options for tomorrow and Saturdays stand as well as a few varieties of cookies. Not sure if I’ll get to cinnamon rolls today or not but I will do my best. Making ingredients from scratch and also baking takes its time and double with my hand injury. The stand will be closed early Saturday through Monday due to me being out of town. I will be living up my mother of the groom era and going bridal gown shopping with my future daughter in law 🙌🏽 As always, thank you for continuing to choose me to fill your tummies. Have a safe and blessed day #NicolesCountryCrumbs #Eggs #Bread #Farm #Sourdough

Nothing beats baking from your own homemade and home grown ingredients. Today’s butterscotch cookies are baked with my homemade butter, homemade brown sugar, home grown eggs and of course my extra stiff and tangy sourdough starter. Next up are a few loaves of some new sourdough bread I’m working on with Bear State Farm’s special onion balsamico blend of cheese along with a few loaves of my typical cheddar cheese sourdough. Finally, (not pictured) sourdough English muffins that will be getting added to the menu this week! 🫶🏼 Thank you for letting me be your bread and cookie dealer 😉 It’s always a pleasure and a huge honor taking care of my people, thank you for being along for the journey. #NicolesCountryCrumbs #Eggs #Cookies #Bread #Farm

Im convinced this is the true definition of “taste the rainbow”. Never stops amazing me to find a new favorite laying spot of the hens. A little late on the post today but we still have farm fresh eggs, sourdough bread and sourdough double chocolate chip cookies available today at the farm stand. Here’s a little video of where to find the eggs and how to pay if you’re not already currently a customer. I truly can’t thank our community enough for trusting me to fill your tummies while you continue to fill my heart! I hope everyone has a safe and blessed day 🫶🏼. #NicolesCountryCrumbs #Eggs #Bread #Farm #Sourdough

This is the product of breaking all the sourdough “rules” and baking the way you live your life…. Free range and feral. I should’ve known from the beginning this is the way to get best results. Bake and live life from your heart, not following some “recipe” or expectations and watch how full your heart (and bread 😉) becomes. #NicolesCountryCrumbs #Bread #Farm #Eggs #CountryLiving

I have realized sometimes an entire loaf of sourdough can be too much for one person, or maybe we can’t choose between savory and sweet…. With that I’ve decided to start baking mini loafs and offer a variety 4 pack flight of sourdough as well as individual miniature loafs. The 4 pack flight will have 2 savory and 2 sweet. One mini loaf is the perfect size for one to devour guilt free and not have to worry about safely storing the leftovers because there won’t be any! Full size sourdough still available of course, this is just an addition to the greatness already offered 🤗 This morning I had our farm fresh deviled eggs on some freshly baked cheddar sourdough and it was the perfect amount to give me a happy and full belly without a heavy feeling that processed foods leave me with. What’s your favorite sourdough flavor?? I’m currently feeling stuck on cheddar for my savory and strawberry white chocolate chip for my sweet but excited to try more! #NicolesCountryCrumbs #Sourdough #Cookies #Bread #Eggs

This sourdough has truly been a game changer! I know I just revamped all my recipes however I’m doing it again and switching everything to sourdough so I can have the gooiest, fluffiest and tastiest treats out there. My first go at sourdough chocolate chip cookies and my blueberry lemon loaf changed my entire opinion about sourdough! I wasn’t sure what to expect and honestly wasn’t too excited to try but went for it and only regret is NOT doing it sooner. Moving forward, cookies, cinnamon rolls and breads will all be made from my sourdough! Seriously can’t believe I’m so late to the game but thank you all for loving me through the process while I figure out how best to serve all of you! I can’t wait for this weekends menu to be available for everyone to try on Saturday! #NicolesCountryCrumbs #Sourdough #Farm #Baked #Eggs

Yesterday was a great day! Corey got back out there after being injured on and off for the past year and fought with his whole heart. He was nervous but with the love and support of his coaches and team along with the sending up some prayers, he came out injury free and and got his head back in the game where he needs to be. We ended the day with my boys at my sisters house being overly stuffed with too much good food and of course extra love. Perfect way to spend Corey’s last Saturday of being a teenager. Tomorrow it’s the big 20 for him 🧁 🥹🫶🏼❤️ #AlwaysBeMyBaby #MyFam #HallowToo #GrandPup
