Dad and I got invited over to Greenwood, MS last night and today to be a part of Franklin Homes Retail Council. We got to see the new things they are rolling out here soon for a better online presence, talk with lenders about what they’re seeing in the market(no rates aren’t going down.. they actually went up the past couple of weeks), and meet other dealers who offer their product as well. Us and about 9 other dealers sat down for about 3-4 hours and went over what we see that can be better with what they are currently doing, what they can do to deliver a higher quality product cosmetically and structurally, and new options that could please future homeowners. It was nice to get people from all over the place and talk with them for the betterment of the product we sell. I applaud them for getting us together and being open to having these discussions. #Manufacturedhomes #Modularhomes #Franklinhomes #Boltonhomes by @coreymbolton

September 16, 2014 searching for a Doberman puppy I came across this little fella with the blue collar.

At that time I had no clue just how much he would mean to our family and the hole that has been left now that he had to go to doggy heaven.

If you came to our house at all over the past 9 years, Kain was center of attention and Sadie just trying to get a little bit of attention when Kain wasn’t giving you hand therapy from needing to be pet the entire time you were there. Kain was the most sweet, fun, loving, gentle dog that we have ever had.

In 2015 Kain got Pythium, one of the things that happens is that the intestines gets calcified and will barely let any food through, and once the vet diagnosed him she said that there was about a 3-5% chance he would live. They said that we should say our goodbyes… we couldn’t believe that and didn’t want to accept it so I started doing tons of research that evening, the vet said that we needed to bring him to LSU… well the next day mom and dad were bringing him to LSU. The best chance he had was to remove 11” of his intestines, but during that time I found a scientist that had mad a pill treatment that gave pups a 50% chance to live. We took that and ran with it. It wasn’t an easy road… after he had the surgery he didn’t want to eat and our family would get in his pin with him and spoon feed him to make sure he ate. Mom would take him out every 30 mins at night because he had to relearn how to go to the bathroom. It was a journey but it was so worth it. We have loved him so much and so glad we got to be a part of his life here.

He and Sadie had to go to dog heaven today because of both of them having cancers, Kain having lymphoma and Sadie having a growth on her side that was almost the size of her.

We spent each night with them this week as we tried to be prepared for today, but there is no amount of time that can prepare you for losing two members of your family.
