What happens when football, superheroes, and a lifelong love of storytelling come together? 🏈🦸🏾‍♂️🔥

We’re talking about the story behind NOAH STONE: SUPER SPORTS COMICS!

For this episode, the tables turned as my brothers Corey Jones @coreymjones3 and Aaron Reed @aaronreidofficial interviewed me about the inspiration behind Noah Stone, the athletes and superheroes who influenced the vision, and what it means to create a Black star athlete as a Black author.

From Peach County’s Friday night lights to the superheroes who shaped our childhoods, we got into everything that helped bring this universe to life. We talked John Stewart, Static Shock, Miles Morales, Spider-Man, Hulk, football culture, and the message I hope young readers take away from Noah’s journey.

This conversation is personal because Noah Stone represents more than just a character on a page. It represents creativity, perseverance, representation, and the power of bringing your ideas to life.

Big thanks to Corey and Aaron for sitting down with me and helping tell the story BEHIND the story! 🙌🏾

We spend so much time chasing the next goal, the next promotion, the next milestone… that sometimes we forget to enjoy where we are right now.

Slow down. Take the scenic route. Put the top down. Appreciate the people around you.

The destination matters, but the ride is where life actually happens 💪🏾✊🏾 #menslifestyle #growth by @coreymjones3

Look what showed up at my door step, Prada Paradigme Le Parfum. Excited to add this cologne to my collection! @prada @pradabeauty #giftedbypradabeauty by @coreymjones3

Sometimes where you eat can mean more than just a good meal..

I recently visited Café Momentum here in Atlanta, and what stood out to me was the mission behind the restaurant. Through paid internships, mentorship, education and real-world experience, they’re helping young people build the skills and confidence to create new opportunities for their future. I wish my hometown in Sumter, SC had something like this when I was growing up!

With support from @blankfoundation, that mission is now making an impact right here in Atlanta. That’s the work nonprofits and foundations do in communities across the country.

Great food. Even better purpose.

Day in the Life at a tech company 1st person POV #meta #metaglasses #menslifestyle #tech #corporate by @coreymjones3

I’m learning that a successful career and a successful life are two different things.

I’m still ambitious. Still want to grow. Still want to make good money and do meaningful work.

But I don’t want any of it at the expense of actually enjoying my life.

Being present with my family. Creating. Traveling. Having hobbies. Spending time with people I care about. Just…living.

I want a career I’m proud of, but I want a life I’m even more proud of. That’s starting to feel a lot more like success to me. #menslifestyle #growth #corporatelife by @coreymjones3
