When I have low physical & mental energy, I meet myself where I’m at. Not every sesh can be full of power stomp bangers. It’s ok to accommodate your body and mind ❤️ What remains the same is my commitment to my dance no matter what version of me shows up.

Besides, chill shuffles are just as beautiful and cool 😎

Shuffle circles/cyphers still make me nervous and I think they always will. But I’ve never once regretted jumping in one. They are a reminder to let go of perfection. To have fun and celebrate the unique flow of each dancer. I would always rather be the dancer having the most fun instead of being the “best”. ❤️

So if your heart rate skyrockets right before jumping in or you totally black out once you go for it, just know that’s a universal experience 🥵

Shy girls tap in!!

Hello world, we are married! 🤍

We eloped last month- Saying our vows to each other with the beautiful ancient redwood trees as our witnesses.🌲 We had a light misting of rain (I hear that’s good luck) and it made everything feel so mystical and better than what we had imagined for our special day.

We also frolicked on a rocky beach with cake and letters from family and friends. It was a dream, one of the best days of my life.

Summer has been an adventure. I’m taking things slow for now but I can’t wait to get back to dancing and teaching! I’ll get back to it when the time feels right. 🫶

Thank you so much to everyone who joined me for my May Beginner Shuffle & Shapes series at @altfitjax! I had such a blast cutting shapes with every single one of you! 👟✂️

You guys amazed me with how quickly you picked up the shapes fundamentals and how eager you were to learn! It made me so happy to see you guys light up as you were hitting these moves for the first time 🤍

And thank you so much Jaime for the opportunity to host this workshop!

I am taking the month of June off from teaching, but I absolutely cannot wait to pick things up again in July!

Is there anything more whimsical than shuffling on the beach at sunrise? 🌅 I love Sun Models so much, it’s probably my favorite @odesza song. Immediately takes me back to my early twenties 🥹 the nostalgia!
