Shuffling isn’t just a trendy dance; it has roots. It started in the underground rave scene in Melbourne in the late 1980s (the “Melbourne Shuffle”), built on fast heel-toe movements, slides, and freestyle expression. No rules. Just rhythm, energy, and letting go. Over time, it evolved with the electronic music culture and became this global, joyful way to move your body and lose yourself in the beat. You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to feel it. Watching @shufflinggurl inspired me to lift my knees higher and be more fluid. If I’m still here, I’m dancing! First class down. A few months ago I was scrolling TikTok and came across Corey… and I was instantly hooked 😍💃✨ She offered beginner shuffle classes, but the dates never worked… until yesterday. And I told myself I was NOT missing it 🙌🏼 And I did it 🥹 definitely stepped out of my comfort zone!! I had such a great time, and I can officially say I know how to do a proper Running Man now 💁🏻‍♀️ Corey was amazing and so patient, even when my transitions were a work in progress 😅 The best part?
