A look back on Beatrice's first trip around the sun, discovering life, bringing joy, and spreading love. by @corgi_burrito

Less than a week from a full revolution around the sun for Beatrice. What a wonderful, exciting year of discovering life on earth with her. 🥰 by @corgi_burrito

Random adventure morning with Baby Bea. Smiles were had. Friends were made. Temperature finally in the low 60s in the morning. Really wonderful start to the day. 🩷 by @corgi_burrito

Beatrice absolutely adores Dahlia. Given the frequency in which she gets to see Dahlia, I think Dahlia definitely qualifies as her best friend. If Beatrice had to choose between me or Dahlia, she'd pick Dahlia. Funny thing is, I think Dahlia would pick me. And I would pick Beatrice. So, I think this song is the theme song for when the three of us are together. 😅

Anyone else feel this way about their dog? Or is it just me? 🥲 by @corgi_burrito

How lucky I am to love a dog like this again. by @corgi_burrito

A touch more than three months with lil' derp, @beatricethepinkcorgi and my goodness she is just so silly, cute, friendly, outgoing, confident, and sweet. I'm just forever grateful the stars aligned to bring her to me. 🥰 by @corgi_burrito

Gosh I love being an auntie. 🥹 Thank you for letting me join your space when I can, @charbach2 @hdnesa 🩷 by @corgi_burrito

Absolutely zero sorries for sharing the love and joy that Beatrice brings into my life (with hopes it maybe brings some joy into your life, too!) 🩷 by @corgi_burrito

December was such a busy flurry leading right into puppy, I completely forgot to share about my Florida trip at the beginning of December! My mom came with me, as we traveled to Florida a few days before my work meeting so we could go to Walt Disney World together. It was a real treat to get to spend this time, just my mama and me. Thanks for coming, ma! I love you! Let's do this again sometime! 🩷 by @corgi_burrito

The look on her face in this photo is slaying me. It's very "what on earth have I done?" Or "regretting every decision that got me to this point". 🤣 by @corgi_burrito

2025, the year my world turned upside down, became the year I took the holiday seasons very slowly. This included hand-painting all of the Christmas cards I sent out to people. This was a lot of fun and something I like to think I'll do again someday. Here's a look at some of the cards I painted and sent in 2025. by @corgi_burrito

Cats out of the bag.

After losing Charles in September, I had no idea how long I would go before getting another baby. This December, stars aligned, and I signed up to become this precious little angel's mama. Meet Beatrice Clementine Van Gogh. Cardigan Welsh corgi. Pink fluffy coat. Full of love and joy. So sweet and gentle. Very curious. Very snuggly. Very smart.

Grief and joy can exist at the same time. I carry sadness and grief over the loss of Charles while experiencing joy and applying all the things that Charles taught me to Bea's life.

She carries Charles's last name. I carry him with me always. by @corgi_burrito
