I can't believe it's been a year since you've been gone...

We still talk about you. I always say "Tom would have loved this" or I would imagine you laughing and shaking your head at the ridiculous antics I get up to! I miss sending you cool finds on instagram and ridiculous car-related memes. I especially miss your sage advice and sense of humor. I still keep our chat open, and look at old messages every once in a while.

First Pre-production prototype is assembled! This new prototype is made from high-quality ASA filament, which makes it more heat, weather, and UV resistant than earlier prototypes! This is also the first prototype made as one single piece, which makes it stronger and lighter!

@corkscrewd and I in works on the very first FSJ-JLU hood latch conversion pocket for jeep truck and Cherokee models.

As you may have noticed all the modifications are almost finished up so if I’m moving to the front we’re about to move into final stages of exterior work before paint.

These latches have a very similar design language to the style and shape of these J-Trucks and I think with the recessed pocket give the truck a very updated yet correct utilitarian old school CJ look they deserve.

These bucks will allow me to not only make the parts perfect but for anyone else interested in this modification can do this as well.

Here are some more renders based on the speedform concept. This time, I used Gemini to generate random scenarios using the shots of the speedform model as reference.

Both the Gemini and the homebuilt FLUX.2 Klein 9B workflow I've been using produce extremely similar results!
