Congratulations to our September $500 Marlene Correa Foundation Scholarship recipient, Dayonna Clark!

Dayonna shared that her love for nails began when she was just six years old, when she created her first little nail salon in the hallway of her apartment building. Over the years, nail art became more than something she loved—it became a place of peace, creativity, and healing, especially after losing her mother.

One line from her application stood out to us: “I’ve never wanted anything more than this.”

That passion, determination, and hunger to build a future for herself are exactly what this scholarship is meant to support.

We are proud to award Dayonna $500 toward her education and to be a small part of the journey toward the career she has dreamed about for so long.

Congratulations to our September Scholarship Recipient, Dayonna Clark. This is only the beginning. taken in Marlene Correa Foundation by @correafoundation

Day 2 of showing you what’s really happening inside the Marlene Correa Foundation.

Our Student Necessity Pantry is running low, and these shelves serve a real purpose. They are here for students, single moms and working families who sometimes just need a little help making it through the week.

A bag of rice, diapers, toothpaste or feminine hygiene products might seem small—but to someone who needs it, it matters.

We’re asking our community to help us fill these shelves again. You can donate items directly, shop our Amazon Wish List, or make a donation at Correafoundation.org.

Even if you cannot donate, please share this video. The right person may see it and decide to help.

Day 1 of posting our Student Necessity Pantry until these shelves are full.

Because no student should have to choose between investing in their education and basic necessities.

Help us fill the shelves.

Today was PICKUP DAY! 🎒📚

After weeks of asking, collecting, sorting, packing, and watching our community come together, these backpacks are finally going where they belong — to local students getting ready for a new school year.

Thank you to every person and local business who donated a backpack, pencils, notebooks, crayons, or even shared one of our posts. This happened because YOU helped us make it happen.

For the Marlene Correa Foundation, this is what community is about: seeing a need right here in our own backyard and doing what we can to help.

To all of our students heading back to school: we hope you have an amazing year! 🎒❤️

And to our donors — THANK YOU. We couldn’t have filled these backpacks without you.
