@tweedyandfluff is nominated for a @bafta Television Award in Children’s Scripted 🤩🥳

Wonderful recognition for our whole incredible team! So delighted.🤍🐾
Thank you #BAFTATVAwards with @pandocruises

Congratulations and thanks to all our production team, partners (Mark, John), commissioners and everyone who believed in us. Nothing happens unless someone does. They take a risk based purely on instinct and vision. That belief has a legacy in Jackie Edwards, the wonderful Kay Benbow and Louise Bucknole 🤍🤍🤍

Love to partners in Fluff: the talented Chris Randall the indefatigable Martin Tapley and stop-motion artisans @secondhomestudios_uk and our sensitive Milkshake!/ @paramountco Exec, Kyle Jenkins. Congratulations @bookshopband and @nina.wadia

It was Dot’s 10th Birthday this week! 🎈A wonderful excuse to step into these stunningly beautiful snowy spreads by @fionawoodcock

Incredibly proud of A Dot in the Snow and to still see it on book shelves each year, at Christmas time, is such a delight.

It’s also a wonderful reminder of an incredible collaboration with super talent @fionawoodcock and the wonderful Helen Mortimer and @iamkateadams - I just loved the poetic care and attention we gave this.

Thank you for celebrating with us @oxfordchildrens

There’s a full moon on its way!

The Harvest Moon 🌾🌕 peaks on Saturday 26th September.

So there’s an even better chance to spot Moon Mouse! 😉🔭🐭

As the nights get darker, Moon Mouse from me and @lorna.hillustrations is the perfect picture book for lunar-loving little ones to cosy up with. It won the @portsmouthsls book award earlier this year (chosen by the city’s primary school children 🤍) and is a @waterstones_kids 5⭐️ bookseller recommendation.

If you’re keen to squeeze the most out of these last warm days of September and hold onto Summer for just a little longer, try this story at bedtime.

‘A Home for Stone’ by me and @rosalindbeardshaw is about a little boy who finds a lonely stone on the beach and tries to locate its true home. If little pebbles and stones often find their way home with you in pockets and picnic bags, this sweet seaside story about belonging will really chime with you.

🌙 🐭 🎈

🥁 MOON MOUSE has won the SLS Portsmouth Book Award! @portsmouthsls
Congratulations @lorna.hillustrations @hachettechildrens 🙌🎈

The award, championed by Portsmouth School Library Service’s incredibly passionate team, saw 2286 Year 1 children in Portsmouth voting for their favourite picture book.

An incredible way to motivate little readers and build excitement around books! One of many events that this inspiring team host in the city.

We had a mini roadshow to celebrate (in the Amy-mobile 🚙), meeting year 1 pupils in all of these schools in just one day! 😅

It was such a joy, to see how excited and empowered the children felt - having ownership, a creative opinion, a connection both to the community in Portsmouth and the wider world of books.

A huge thank you and bravo 👏 to all the schools and children involved and to the SLS team for making this magic. ✨
