My name is Jo, I live in the Kent countryside with my husband, 2 sons, 3 cats, lots of fish?! and some adorable garden visitors (🐦⬛🐿️🦊🐭🦔🦇🦉🦆).

Cosinests (cosy 🥰 nests🪺) my little cosy online store, for lovers of all things cosy, where you can buy thoughtful cosy gifts, accessories and home decor.

I have always loved making my family feel cosy...baking, crafting, creating a party theme they’ll love and am always seeking out thoughtful cosy ideas and gifts (I love to give gifts 🎁 ). Also I am at my most happy when I am at home, in my cosy nest, with my loved ones ❤️

Ultimately I know that life can be hard, cruel & sadly even scary at times 😔. Like most, I would much rather live in a more caring and peaceful world 🙏. I believe the feeling of Cosy can be the antithesis that helps us to feel safe, comforted and a great way to de-stress and focus on life’s positives again 😍.

When someone you love is having a bad day, it can be the simple things, the cosy and caring things that can make all the difference. I can’t solve the world’s problems, but I can bring a little cosy to someone’s day 🥹.

Thank you for reading my little story and a very warm welcome to Cosinests where my motto is “Time spent feeling cosy is time well spent”.

🍁 Welcoming cosy October with open arms 🧡

✨Such a magical month, with the changing colours of the leaves 🍂, Halloween 👻 to look forward to and creating a cosy nest 🪺 to come home to now the nights are getting darker so much earlier.

What’s your favourite thing about this month? 🤗

🧡Some of my cosy favs are:
• 🍁 Watching the leaves change colour 🍂
• 🎃 Buying pumpkins, making soups and pies
• Baking my 🍎 & cinnamon cake 😋
• Wearing a different scarf every day🧣

☕️ Last week I sat in this gorgeous farm shop’s tea room, having a meeting about something incredibly exciting 🤗

As a small business owner who lives and breathes all things cosy, this was the absolute dream backdrop for what’s coming next 🤗

These are the wide leg @marksandspencer jeans.
I bought a size 8 Short (I’m 5ft & a size 8)

This is just one way to style them……

With the legs being wide I wanted to balance the look so chose the @cosinests scarf to visually draw the eye up, add a print & another texture.

Add a simple knit, a jacket & for me trainers but you can swap to boots, you can swap the jacket to a blazer…. Play with the outfit to suit you.

I will say these jeans are so comfortable by @cosinests

😍 I’m obsessed with these new scarves 🤗…

I mean I appreciate that those of you that know me well, know I 🧡 a scarf…but there is something so cute, pretty and whimsical 🧚‍♀️ about…• Pixie • Tilly & • Samantha 🥰

🫶 Tell me, are you buying into the little triangle scarf trend this season? If so how are you wearing yours most? Over the shoulders, snood, bandana???

I am wearing my Mustard Tilly scarf on repeat 😍 oh and loving this new buzz word…

🤩 Ode to the very gorgeous and super cool Lenny Kravitz!

😂 Which take did I do best...1st or 2nd?

Admittedly it was officially the first day of fall 🍁back on 22nd September ...but this voiceover sprung into my head yesterday when I was outside photographing the new scarves (the Samantha scarf will be up online today!!) Boy 🥶 did that get cold later in the afternoon!

So scarf 🧣 season has officially started 🥰...see Cosinests for ‘Lenny’ style big scarves, plus mid-weight & light-weight scarves, not forgetting the must have itty bitty triangle knit scarves that are flying out the door this weekend ( I must call Lenny and let him know these are in stock 🤣).

🫣 Well this weeks “Come Cosy Shop With Me” was a bit of a drama 😂

🎙️ Mic stopped working for a bit
😻 Cat decided to join in
🎥 Couldn’t refilm

So it it what it is 🤪 hope it’s ok and you can get a feel for the lovely new scarves 🤞

They should be available online later this evening if my little fingers can type quick enough 🥴

🤹‍♀️When did life get so busy??

I know I’m not the only one, every time I get a chance to catch up with a lovely friend, we all say and feel the same way 🥴

Do you? Are you super busy all the time, are you feeling the strain of; work, house admin, caring, providing, cooking…what have I missed?

And I can honestly say that my obsession with cosy is my saving grace 🙏

We’ve all got to work hard, provide and care for our families but without those cosy moments, the stress, tiredness and pressure can build.
