We didn’t just host a night, we built a frequency!!!

This edition we payed tribute to trans women pioneers in electronic music, especially Wendy Carlos and SOPHIE.

Forever grateful to @xeongrace and Baph for the fierce curation and deep collaboration that shaped this whole performance into a living, breathing conversation between sound and form.
Huge love to @counter_cxlture for letting us open up their incredible Queer Bass night. @hoxtoncabin thank you for holding the space, and @sillylittle.craftclub for helping us build a stage that felt like a portal instead of a platform.
And to everyone who showed up, posed, danced, drew, listened and held each other – you are the reason this community is real, loud and unstoppable.

If you felt even a spark of that energy, you do not want to miss what’s coming next: this Wednesday 25th we’re back with a new edition featuring two incredible artists pushing form and queer futures even further.

LIFE DRAWING SESSION ✍️

Hosted by @queerlifesocial, this special session features @xeongrace and MISTRESS QT — both moving between model and DJ throughout the evening.

The session is split into two parts:
First half inspired by Wendy Carlos
Second half dedicated to SOPHIE

While one model poses, the other takes over the decks — creating a live dialogue between sound and form.

🕖 7PM — 9PM
📍 Hoxton Cabin

All materials and props are included with your life drawing ticket.

Very limited spots remaining — don’t miss out.
If cost is a barrier, DM us and we’ll make it accessible.

For the first time, we are pleased to announce that we’ll be hosting a FLITNA+ Open Decks session, upstairs at the @hoxtoncabin .

If you’re a FLINTA+ DJ, artist, producer and are dying to test your skills in a relaxed, encouraging and non-judgmental environment on club standard decks, then do come over to our event on Friday 20th of March.

Registration will be on the night first come, first serve.
DJ Slots will be 30 minutes long.

While the open decks are free, we would highly appreciate it if you can comp a ticket for the club night downstairs.

If you are struggling financially and would like to attend the club night then just DM us and we can get you sorted.

We are so excited to share with you the wonderful artists we have curated for our club night at CounterCxlture...

Featuring:

@haaji.ka.halva
is known for her high energy live performances and her experimental approach to mixing. Armed with MIDI launchpads instead of decks, she creates a melting pot of diasporic sounds by sampling anything from South Asian vocal melodies to reggae classics and R&B hooks over heavy old-school jungle, jungle techno, darkside, breakbeat hardcore and happy hardcore. Channeling the spirit of 90’s rave culture through sampling, Haaji Ka Halva’s sets are fast, cheeky and uplifting.

Originally from Canada and now shelling it in the UK scene - Lotus Phaze is the genre-blending powerhouse bringing serious heat to the decks. Known for her high-energy sets and music productions as well as her more atmospheric and ethereal soundscapes; her selection knows no bounds. She plays everything from Baile Funk, Breaks, Jersey/Baltimore Club, Gqom, Jungle, Desi Club, Dubstep, Footwork, Techno, Hip Hop, and even Trance and Amapiano; all in one seamless ride through global club sounds.

is a Bristol-born, London-based DJ, producer and promoter rooted in UK bass culture. Blending dubstep, garage, UK techno and leftfield bass, her sets are driven by deep low-end frequencies. She’s played for Keep Hush, Red Bull and major festivals including Boomtown and The Warehouse Project. DaiSu co-runs Rat Rave, is a member of NOT BAD FOR A GIRL and a resident for Subtle Radio.

is a trailblazing trans DJ, producer, and label owner from SE London, whose musical soul thrives on bass-heavy sounds spanning UKG, Bassline, and Breaks. Recently gaining recognition with her track "Trans is Beautiful" being played on BBC Radio 1's BBC Introducing show by Jaguar, Jessie has established herself as an exciting fresh voice in London's underground music scene. She runs Orbital Chaos Records, a label dedicated to emerging and queer artists with a bass-forward sound and has been instrumental in creating safer spaces for under-represented communities through her events. taken in Hoxton Cabin by @counter_cxlture
