🌈 CounterCxlture: A Queer Bass Music Night 🌈
Friday 20th March
- All FLINTA+ Lineup
- Life Drawing Session + Music
- Open Decks...

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We didn’t just host a night, we built a frequency!!!

This edition we payed tribute to trans women pioneers in electronic music, especially Wendy Carlos and SOPHIE.

Forever grateful to @xeongrace and Baph for the fierce curation and deep collaboration that shaped this whole performance into a living, breathing conversation between sound and form.
Huge love to @counter_cxlture for letting us open up their incredible Queer Bass night. @hoxtoncabin thank you for holding the space, and @sillylittle.craftclub for helping us build a stage that felt like a portal instead of a platform.
And to everyone who showed up, posed, danced, drew, listened and held each other – you are the reason this community is real, loud and unstoppable.

If you felt even a spark of that energy, you do not want to miss what’s coming next: this Wednesday 25th we’re back with a new edition featuring two incredible artists pushing form and queer futures even further.

Almost sold out!!! hit the link in bio before they disappear.

ADHD last minute chaos post wrapping up 2025 🤣🤣🤣

2025 was about building safe spaces for queer expression and investing in queer creatives 🩷🩷🩷

I ran 4 club nights with the amazing teams from CounterCxlture 🔊🔊 and Mothership 👽🚀 and paid over £2000 directly to queer performers. Our Mothership x Gaytorade fundraiser raised almost £400, split between Palestinian Children's Relief Fund and Trans Kids Deserve Better. The Underground Promoter Network I started grew to over 440 members.

My doco partner Mish and I filmed conversations about queer community spaces, including a poignant conversation with Abi Smith the founder of Big Queer Picnic, which I'm excited to get out to an audience in 2026. Sneak peek in carousel 👀

On the label side, Orbital Chaos Records put out six releases this year including the Producer Circle 1st birthday VA and a hat trick from Angus Angus. I've signed 6 more tracks from Lotus Phaze, lilotus, and DaiSu keep an eye out 👀 for these in 2026.

Some personal stuff happened too. I opened Ableton for the first time in March after owning it since 2014 😅🤣. By June my track "Trans is Beautiful" had been played on BBC Radio 1 twice on Jaguar's BBC Introducing. It got featured on Get In Her Ears and made their favourite tracks of 2025. Queer Edge named their discussion panel after it and I got to sit alongside trans luminaries while they played my song and we talked about trans rights. Friends also dropped it in their sets. People got teary 🥹🥹🥹 Still pinching myself.

I played 8 DJ sets this year including Jaguar's Utopia for Pride, Gaytorade Halloween, and Ana Dellors' TAKEOVER, plus a radio show on Kafn's Psyops radio show.

Burnout hit hard in Sep/Oct. It slowed me down more than I wanted. But I'm still proud of what got done this year 😭🥹🫠🩷

Thank you to everyone who danced, listened, played, showed up, and trusted me with their music.

2026 will be the year of the independent queer record label. Let's gooooo 🖤

Well it’s taken us over a fortnight to recover from what was an epic Pride afterparty at @lowprofilestudios.official Loft: with 9 DJs, 3 B2Bs and 8 hours of non-stop grooving 🥵

Now more than ever, we believe in the power of queer community, solidarity and resistance.

We’d like to express huge thanks to all of our beautiful and talented DJs:

@andy__grav
@danvarivari
@queenieprinx
@djmaddogtrue b2b @benebedj
@iamjessymac b2b errorist (@kafn.music )
@ftronicplaysmusic b2b @pedrodeejay_

And to everyone who joined us on the dance floor- we couldn’t do this without you.❤️

See you at the next one.

The best things come in 3s!

On top of our amazing b2bs we have THREE solo talents, each bringing their own flavour of queer dancefloor euphoria:
🔥 @danvarivari - genre-fluid house, techno and global club
🔥 @queenieprinx - East London’s kittygrl-partyboi serving sultry & bouncy beats
🔥 @andy__grav - new kid on the block with a bass infused sound

THIS IS WHAT QUEER EXCELLENCE LOOKS LIKE. #pride
