Here are a few ways that having a coach can help you.

* You Are Ready to Learn, Grow, & Change
* You Want Honest Feedback
*You Need Help Processing
* You Are Experiencing a Life Transition

I also LOVE to work with teams. We spend so much of our time at work, and learning about ourselves and others helps to make our time there the most enjoyable and productive it can be.

One of my favorite things to talk about...**Resilience is our ability to adapt, recover, and keep moving forward when life gets hard.**

It's not about being tough, pushing through, or pretending everything is fine.

It's about learning how to navigate disappointment, uncertainty, loss, and change without losing ourselves in the process.

And here's the good news: **Resilience isn't something you either have or don't. It's something you can build.**

Sometimes resilience looks like moving forward. Other times, it looks like resting, reaching out, or beginning again.

We can't avoid the hard stuff, but we can grow in how we respond to it and know that we can make it through hard things.

What's helped you build resilience?

Sometimes what we learned to recognize as love isn't actually love. It's approval. Being needed. Being chosen. Keeping the peace. Feeling safe. Proving our worth.

Each Enneagram type has its own ways of seeking love, and sometimes we confuse the strategies we developed to *earn* love with love itself.

But love isn't something we have to perform for, manage, or exhaust ourselves trying to keep.

Part of growing is learning to recognize the difference. And gently reminding ourselves that we are worthy of love, even when we're not doing all the things we thought made us lovable.

Which one resonates with you? 🤍

“Defensiveness is the arch enemy of listening.” — Harriet Lerner

This one is worth sitting with.

It's hard to really hear someone when we're busy explaining, justifying, or preparing our response.

And defensiveness makes sense. Most of us don't love feeling misunderstood, criticized, or exposed.

But **listening to understand is different from listening to defend.**

We can be curious instead of protective. We can hear someone else's experience without immediately making a case for our own.

It's uncomfortable work. And it's some of the most important work we can do in our relationships.

A little less defending. A little more listening. ❤️

Some things hit a little closer to home than others. ❤️

What feels small to one person can touch something tender in someone else.

The Enneagram helps us understand *why.*

Sometimes it's not just about what happened, but the fear, longing, or old story underneath it.

**We can take our feelings seriously without taking everything personally.**

The invitation? Get curious about what hurts, offer yourself some compassion, and remember that not everything is a reflection of your worth.

What resonates with you?

**“Shame cannot survive empathy.” — Brené Brown**

Oof. I love this reminder. And I think it's worth sitting with for a minute.

Shame is that painful feeling that something is wrong with *who we are*. Not simply "I made a mistake," but "I am a mistake." It tells us we're unworthy of love, connection, or belonging.

Empathy is our willingness to enter into someone else's experience with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment. It's communicating, "You're not alone. I'm here. I want to understand."

And here's why this matters so much.

Shame thrives in secrecy, silence, and isolation. It convinces us to hide the very things that need care and attention.

Empathy helps loosen shame's grip.

But goodness, this takes courage. On both sides.

**If you're carrying shame:** Practice being brave enough to share your story with someone who has earned your trust. Start small. Name what you're feeling. Let someone remind you that your hardest moments don't define your worth.

**If someone shares their shame with you:** Be a safe place to land. Listen without judgment. Resist the urge to fix, minimize, compare, or rush toward a silver lining. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer is simply, "Thank you for trusting me with this. I'm here."

And don't forget to practice offering that same empathy to yourself.

We all have things we're tempted to hide. Things we wish we'd done differently. Parts of our stories that feel tender or difficult to share.

**What a gift to become people who make it a little safer for others to be fully human.**

A little invitation this week: Be brave enough to let yourself be known, and compassionate enough to make room for someone else's story. 🤍

Some of the grief we carry is hard to name because we don't always recognize it as grief.

We tend to think of grief as something that follows death or a significant loss. And of course, it does.

But sometimes grief looks like the childhood we wish had been different. The years we spent trying to be enough. The parts of ourselves we learned to hide. The relationships that didn't become what we'd hoped.

Sometimes we grieve what happened. Other times, we grieve what never happened.

And goodness, I think there's so much tenderness here.

The Enneagram can help us recognize some of these quieter losses. The things we've learned to live with, minimize, or move right past. Not because every type experiences grief the same way, but because our patterns can reveal something about what we've longed for, protected, or missed along the way.

And here's what I hope you'll remember: You can be grateful for your life and still grieve parts of your story.

You don't have to explain away the hard things, compare your pain to someone else's, or rush to find the lesson.

Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is simply acknowledge what mattered. And offer ourselves a little compassion for what we've carried.

Which one resonates with you? Maybe give yourself a little room to sit with it today. 🤍

There's something beautiful about the way trees let go of their leaves each fall. 🍂 And it's a beautiful thing...

They don't hold on to everything. They release what they need to, making room for what comes next.

And I wonder what we might learn from that.

So much of our lives are spent adding. More responsibilities, more commitments, more expectations. More things we should be doing, improving, or figuring out.

But what if growth isn't always about adding something new?

What if sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is let something go?

An expectation. An old pattern. The need to keep everyone happy. A commitment that no longer fits. The pressure to do it all.

Because every yes costs us something. And sometimes, in order to give our **best yes** to the people, relationships, and things that matter most, we have to be willing to say no. Or not anymore. Or not right now.

That's not always easy. Sometimes letting go comes with grief, discomfort, or disappointment.

But there's wisdom in recognizing that we simply cannot carry everything.

**Maybe this season isn't inviting you to do more. Maybe it's inviting you to make room for what matters most.**

What's something you might need to release this fall?

There's something about Sundays that always gets me thinking about the week ahead.

What's coming, what needs my attention, what I'm looking forward to, and (if I'm honest) all the things I feel like I *should* be doing.

And I know I'm not alone in that.

We all walk into a new week carrying different pressures, expectations, fears, and hopes. And depending on our Enneagram type, some of those familiar patterns can get pretty loud.

So here's a little encouragement for each of us as we head into a new week.

Maybe you don't need another thing to accomplish, fix, or figure out. Maybe you just need a gentle reminder of what's already true about you.

Take what you need. Let something go. And remember, growth doesn't always mean trying harder. Sometimes it means being a little kinder to ourselves along the way.

Which reminder are you taking into your week? 🤍

If you're always the one making room for everyone else, who's making room for you?

The one who listens. Who understands. Who gives people the benefit of the doubt. Who notices what others need and makes space for their feelings.

These are beautiful gifts. Truly.

But sometimes we become so good at understanding everyone else that we forget what it's like to be understood.

We stop asking. Stop sharing. Convince ourselves our needs aren't that important.

And before long, being the understanding one becomes a way of keeping ourselves from being fully known.

You deserve relationships where curiosity goes both ways. Where your feelings matter, too. Where you don't always have to be the strong, steady, understanding one.

And sometimes that means doing the vulnerable work of letting people know what you need.

You can be deeply compassionate toward others without disappearing from your own relationships.

A little reminder to check on the people who are always checking on everyone else. And if that's you, maybe it's time to let someone in. 🤍
