The game isn’t only won on the court. It’s shaped by every person trusted to stand behind it.

Legendary Hall of Fame journalist, Andrea Kremer (@thisisandreakremer), led a conversation with Dr. Lacee Carmon-Johnson (@mrscoachlacee), Director of Basketball Advancement for the @raptors, Liron Fanan (@lironf) General Manager of the Cleveland Charge, and Dr. Courtney Watson (@courtscornerla), Head Athletic Trainer & Director of Health & Performance for the (@trailblazers), on the women helping athletes perform at their highest level.

From player development, to sports medicine, to the front office, they spoke about the responsibility that comes with these roles, especially in spaces where women have long been the exception. The conversation centered on supporting athletes as whole people, with mental health carrying just as much importance as physical performance.

They also shared the non-negotiables they’ve carried throughout their careers: protecting family, building healthy cultures, working where they’re trusted instead of micromanaged, and creating opportunities for the women coming behind them.

Because every seat matters and who occupies it shapes the future of the game✨
