Huge congratulations to one of the most dominant basketball players of all time!
PERIOD..... MS Tina Thompson (@iamtinathompson ) for being nominated into the HALL OF FAME.
-
Moo Moo has been giving out buckets... and elbows as long as I can remember. From our childhood days at Roberson Park to Morningside High, USC and throughout her illustrious Pro Career.
-
Now she’s giving back to the game by coaching and mentoring young ladies at the University of Texas. Im 100% confident that she will also be a Hall Of Fame Coach.
-
Of all her accomplishments, T is one of the most dedicated and hard working #MOMS I know. None of her on court accomplishments can compare to the job she’s doing with Dyl!
•
Love you and Job well done!

❗️Patellofemoral pain syndrome❗️ (PFPS) is one of the most common knee disorders among the active population.
•
It is characterized by peripatellar pain during activity, descending stairs or with prolonged sitting.
•
The patellofemoral joint consists of the patella and its approximation within the distal femoral groove.
•
The patella can become irritated if it is pulled out of alignment either by abnormal foot mechanics, tight muscles, weakness, muscle imbalance around the hip or due to core/pelvic instability.
•
As adolescent athletes go through growth spurts they become more susceptible to injuries.
•
Some of this is due to growth plate stress, flexibility restrictions, core & pelvic weakness and difficulty with body awareness.

❗️When Can I Run⁉️This is a question everyone asks me after ACL Reconstruction.
•
Whenever I get asked questions like this from patients or parents I prefer to give performance benchmarks instead of timelines.
•
Every rehab progresses at its own unique pace, but every athlete eventually gets to where they want to be, and it happens after they achieve these benchmarks.
•
Most of my athletes begin running around the 3 month mark, but that's 3 months of regular training with the rehab focused on the next benchmark in the progression.
•
It's also important to remember that there is no reason to rush into running, this is a 9 -12 month rehab with progression based upon movement proficiency and success. Not a calendar.
