sometimes an old friend introduces you to their college friends and you all become fast friends together
and sometimes theres a huge drama and none of you talk to the old friend anymore
but sometimes you stay friends with their friends and they invite you to the mountains in the summertime
and you stay up til the small hours talking
and you walk up the mountain to eat peaches and feel the wind
sometimes you throw rocks into the creek and tell each other how much love you have for each other
i hope i can come back again and again and again and again and taken in Pisgah National Forest by @cowboy_emi

some december moments and some 2025 moments, in no particular order

despite everything, i wake up most days immersed in gratitude. i actually probably wake up with a headache, though still in awe of how cool life can really be. this year was A Lot in a lot of ways but again, despite everything, i couldn’t be happier.
i moved to the city and fell in love
i walked a lot and wrote and cried and cooked big pots of soup
i thought about the light a lot
i met the coolest person i’ve ever met over and over again
i rose to occasions i never thought i was capable of
it’s pretty cool to be alive right now
despite everything

thank you to everyone and everywhere and everything that made 2025 special
in 2026 we will keep making art and laughing and drinking and going to each other’s shows and going for coffee, i pinky promise

love you see you soon <3 by @cowboy_emi
