Sourdough Hazelnut Chocolate Cookies. Roasted hazelnuts in a chewy chocolate cookie amidst dark chocolate chunks. It's half-term with lots of chocolate and beautifully deep strong coffee for me!👌

Black Forest Brownie Cheesecake Bars. One of my absolute fave cakes switched up as another kind of dessert! I used my dark chocolate brownie as a base, added a layer of lucious black cherry compote and then covered it with a creamy layer of white chocolate mascapone cheesecake. It was perfect.

Happy Birthday! Triple-layer chocolate dream! Rich, moist chocolate cake layered with silky chocolate buttercream and luscious pistachio cream. Finished with chocolate swirls, crushed pistachios and decorated pistachio macarons filled with white chocolate–pistachio ganache 💚

✨ Made to order and baked fresh at home with lots of love.

Happy Birthday! Chocolate and Pistachio Cake - a little pre-birthday cake never hurt anyone, especially when there's a crowd! 😍

Soft dark chocolate sponge layered with fudgy chocolate buttercream and a dreamy pistachio cream, stacked in perfect alternation. Rich, nutty, chocolatey bliss — made for a cuppa.

Main celebration coming next Sunday 🎉✨

Black Sesame and White Chocolate Cookies. Again!

Last week: biscuits in disguise.
This week: cookies with credentials 🍪

Soft-baked, chewy through the middle, just crisp enough at the edges. Nutty, toasty black sesame bringing that deep, earthy richness, swirled with pools of creamy white chocolate for a little sweetness and a lot of dreaminess.

Curious? 👀 DM me for the recipe ✨

Black Sesame Cookies. Freshly baked and honestly… they were just too moreish!! Think shortbread vibes with a toasty black sesame crunch and a slight, chewy centre — the kind of cookie you keep reaching for “just one more” of.

The simple home bake that feels comforting and just a little bit special. Made “for sharing”… but we all know how that goes ✨

Pedro Ximenez, Fig & Caramel Trifle. Opinion may be divided on whether a trifle truly needs a jelly layer—but I say yes and the boozy wobble of Pedro Ximénez in this one was a triumph! Layers of silky caramel and the deep, velvety richness of PX woven through cream and soft panettone, topped with caramelised figs created a dessert that was basically... irresistible! 😝

A classic trifle, perfectly elevated for Christmas! ✨

Dubai Brownie Bars. I experimented with these as a pistachio lover and love the texture that pistachio kataifi adds to a bake - crisp, nutty, absolutely nomtastic and such a perfect contrast to a dark, chocolate brownie! Top with a smooth silky dark ganache and you have a super indulgent treat that's perfectly balanced.

Safe to say… this won't be the last time I make them!

Lemon & lime, sunshine in a bite 🍋💚

After years away from making these delicate little beauties, I think I've fallen back down the macaron rabbit hole! These macarons are like tiny edible sunbeams— a light, lemony crisp shell, followed by a soft and chewy inside, a creamy ganache filling with a surprise citris burst in the middle.

Here's to quiet mum moments, with a treat and a coffee in either hand ☺️

Happy 7th Birthday to my youngest! Still the baby of the family, but already a bright, creative force. She gave me a cake brief, wrote a schedule for the day, invented new family games, and curated the menu—our sweet Evangeline, full of joy and knows her own mind.

We made her dream cake: a triple-layer vanilla sponge with silky whipped chocolate ganache filling, decorated with buttercream grass and handmade rice krispie toadstools covered in fondant. Major shoutout to my second eldest, deputy baker Eliya, who modelled all the toadstools—she's crafty, clever, and just as amazing. 💚🍄🎂

Homemade Pittas. If there’s one thing I never tire of making, it’s these soft, thick, puffy pittas—still warm from the oven and endlessly versatile.

The yoghurt in the dough gives them a beautiful sourdough-style tang without the long wait, and they puff up like little clouds every time.

Snack them with hummus and crudités, stuff them with leftovers, or just tear and enjoy as-is. They go with everything and are perfect!👌
