WHAT YOU ALREADY HOLD — DISPONIBLE MAINTENANT

“What You Already Hold” — disponible maintenant.
Album le 25 septembre.

WHAT YOU ALREADY HOLD — OUT NOW

“What You Already Hold” is out today, the first glimpse of my upcoming album of the same name, out September 25th.

This song is an anti-consumerism mantra that I wrote, first and foremost, for myself.

Always searching for new gear, for something better, for something more — influenced, like all of us, by a society that constantly creates artificial needs, things we desire one moment and grow tired of the next — I eventually realized that everything was already there.

The essentials, right in front of our eyes.

And as a beautiful echo of that idea, the cover artwork had been there all along too, hanging in my living room: a photograph by Bernard Plossu of an abandoned theater. Once a place full of life, where people gathered, today forgotten and almost invisible.

For the “What You Already Hold” lyric video, this abandoned theater comes back to life for the length of a song.

And maybe happiness is simply learning to desire again what we already have.

“What You Already Hold” — out now.

Happy release day! Our ‚Travel Song‘- the first collaboration of @carloslealartist and me is out today!!

It’s a song about traveling, how it changes you, opens up perspectives and how you suddenly feel connected to the whole world. The song was also inspired by the story of our friend Walo Kamm who was one of the first Globetrotters, traveling the world when there was no Lonelyplanet and Easyjet yet- only curiosity and intuition.

We’ve recorded and produced this song in the south of France and beautiful @coxinhell with @mtmsmusic and @aykoma7 - we had a great time in the studio diving into the song! Thanks @nico_quere for tecording & mixing!! Happy to share it with you!! Happy release day!!

Thank you @liamerlach for capturing the recordings so beautifully!!
